Harvest beached whale or basilosaurus carcasses with a pickaxe or chainsaw for large amounts of keratin, along with oil, hide, and spoiled meat. Turtles, triceratops, ankylosaurs, kentrosaurs, thorny dragons, and similar creatures are reliable hunting targets, especially when using a strong tamed creature or ranged weapon followed by an axe. On Aberration, mine keratin-rich bones near surface entrances or tunnels with a mining drill or Tek Stryder, while other maps may offer especially productive coastal carcasses.
