Jerboas give a ton of these but not much meat

Whoever said andrewsarcus gets hide better than a wolf is wrong. My andrewsarcus hasn't harvested more than 25 hide per creature.

Listen to me step one get sabeetooth step 2 go to beach with lots of carbenemys step 3 get on sabertooth and kill kill kill and u get keratin and hide and food

Live in places where many things spawn. Surround yourself (with your Sabertooth) with spike walls then go harvest the corpses. Or just have plant x species surrounding your base even on the beach then there you have it. Use sabers for better results.

Tame a male ovis, tame a lot of female ovis. Breed them up pump health kill ovis with giga and harvest or kill them and harvest with chainsaw.

If you wanna get a lot of hide then once you kill a Dino, use a hachet ok. It gets you more hide than meat where the pick is basically visa versa meaning picks give you more meat than hide.

Just get a wolf or dire bear , u will get plenty easily

Kapro: ≈ 85(D), ≈ 80(T) (tested on 3 kapros for D, 3 for T)

Phiomia: 180-190(D), ≈ 172(T) (4 D, 3 T)

Titanoboa: ≈ 125(D), ≈ 125(T) (5 each, yes I hate snakes, y do u ask?)

Paracer: ≈ 75(D), ≈ 211(T) (3 D, 5 T)

As you can see the direwolf harvests hide a little bit better than the theriz with every prey except paracer...when it has about 1.5 times the theriz's melee. Theriz should be given higher stars for hide gathering. Up theriz.

Also fun fact, a 100% imprint, 1047% attk Rex gets outperformed by both with kapro ≈ 40, titanoboa ≈ 75, and paracer ≈ 90. Ran out of phiomias to test with sadly, but you get the idea. Rex is only good because it can kill things faster, not because it gathers more. Use theriz if you want hide is my advice.

Direwolves are the best for hide, they're easy to tame and are very fast. I have a direwolf that had 1000+% damage and I got 200+ hide from a terror bird.

Sabers are insane, just set them on any little creatures you see and you’ll have stacks in no time

The rex should me wayyyyy higher

It’s so good for me I’m in easy mode on mobile and it gets 50 per parasaur idk why but parasaurs give tons of hide

My tips to have some hide in just 1st day or your a beginner

Hit a sarco ora any weak carnivores and run to and take him to a triceratops anki and stago

Go to the swamp kill a paratherium havest with axe early game hide

Health into sheep. Find a good chainsaw. 🙌🏼

Death worms drop allllot oh hide, do ice queen cave and come out with so much hie, I recommend bringing a bear to do the cave and rex to kill boss.

I say grab a Dire Bear, level the damage a bunch (mine was in the 2,000s) and go hunting. I got 245 hide from a jerboa, A JERBOA! Dire Bears are epic

People should realize that tools do get a good amount of hide but the dire wolf or Saber is the best for hide
