How to tame a Maewing:

STEP ONE: Be on a map where they spawn,Genesis 2 for example.

STEP TWO: Craft a tranquilizer dart gun and around 20 darts.

STEP THREE: Gather or grow any berries or crops and make some prime meat jerky,Diplodocus drop lots of it and are easy to take down.

STEP FOUR: Locate your Maewing and make sure the area is safe,once you have done this, START SHOOTING UNTIL IT’S DOWN (Regular bolas do NOT work on this creature and will cause it to flee) Once it’s out cold,put the prime meat jerky and berries or crops into its inventory.

STEP FIVE: Enjoy your new friend!
