THERE SO MEAAAAN

So I'm walking around a mountain and I see a this thing's egg so I snatched it cause they don't fight back but then all the pterodactyls in the world start attacking me.So quick question why those it not fight back when you shoot it the head or punch it but it fights back when you touch the egg
