To tame a Trike (Triceratops) in Ark: Survival Evolved, you must first knock out the trike using a weapon that induces torpor such as a slingshot or a bow with tranq arrows. Once the Trike is knocked out, you must feed it Carnotaurus Kibble, Crops, Mejoberries, or another type of berry.
Place the food in its inventory, and it will eat each item slowly. Using the Trike taming calculator, you can calculate how long each food will take, and how effective each option will be. Kibble is always the best choice if available.
The Trike is a great beginner dinosaur because it is easy to tame, easy to knock out, and has the ability to attack — though it isn't strong in comparison to other a lot of rideable creatures. The Trike is commonly one of the first rideable creatures that you will tame.
Once it's tamed, craft a Trike Saddle and now you can mount and ride your brand new Triceratops!
This is what’s you’ll need to tame it:narco berries narcotics tranq arrows and some wood structures. Step one: make a taming trap. Make it big Enough so the trike can’t get out make a ramp into the trap and a small door for a survivor to fit in. Step two: Hit the trike run into the trap and go through the small door. Step three get on top of the ramp and start shooting it with Tranq arrows. Also DON’T SHOOT AT THE HEAD THEY HAVE EXTRA PROTECTION THERE.step four:once it’s knocked out put your narco berries and narcotics in the trike and wait for it to be tamed. If this helped please hit the arrow pointing towards the sky.
GET ON HIGHER GROUND! A trike’s climbing ability is awful! Make sure you bring plenty of Narcoberries and Mejoberries. Great start-mid game tame. I tamed a level six female using this method, with tranq arrows & bow. Good luck :]
If you are new you must tame. But there is a fool proof way. Just make a wood taming pen and you should be good. But make a ramp over it to shoot at it from above. ( I know from experience) early game tame but I was scared to tame it at first then when I got the courage I got him. So don’t be scared
