The best way to tame it is have on person driving a raft and the other person shooting at the carnos. After they die, go to land and set a large bear trap. This will cause it to get stuck and you can easily knock it out. Hope this helps.

Take this in a boss fight with ya rex'S and unleash hell. Health is this dudes prime stat so max it out. Dmg and stam are dormant for a support dino imo when you can have a war crying tank instead.

The 3x3 trap works with double door frames too, and might let carnos out for easier taming, I'm not certain, another tweak you could make is to make your base 2 by 3 rather than 3 by 3 to save on expenses, that also works on a rex or spino sized creature.

Who else thinks that the roar they do that basically stuns other dinos should also make them unable to attack you until they’re normal again?

Rhynios are undoubtedly the best thing to tame yutys with, as well as it is for taming most things, but especially yutys, because you can shoot off the back of it and it doesn’t get affected by the roar.

Just build a trap, kite it in, then shoot it off the back of the rhynio.

Job done, easy.

When I talked about the UT’s roar having a 50% effectiveness buff I meant it has a 25% damage buff but it also has an 20% damage resistance so it gives 125% damage plus 20% longer life so it has a 50% damage buff!
