Tips & Strategies

What are tips for voidwyrm? Tips and strategies for voidwyrm in ARK: Survival Ascended & Evolved.
According to ark fandom you passive tame like equus and feed it mutagen, kibble, or raw meat........ well time to die in space I guess.
Starts playing “wish me luck as you wave me goodbye” by Vera Lynn.
Good luck folks!
Abilities wish list l. Laser breath, tranq gas breath, teleportation like astrocetus but faster, tek skiff pickup ability but a faster one, a roar to buff tek other friendly tek dinos or debuff enemy tek dinos, invisibility like the rock drake, and it will be the strongest and 2nd largest flying mount due to the Concept art.
Enjoy.
I assume it will be found outside/near the outside the rings of the colony ship
Nothing about taming this is passive
This is neither a void nor is it a wyrm, as some other people pointed out. It is essentially a tek wyvern, therefore it can fly and walk. Might be good in battle
Best way to tame it is to use a high lvl Blood Wyvern. Make sure the setting “Allow AI special attack” is on. Send the Blood to attack the void. Be sure to contribute in killing it. The wyvern will do most damage. But left alone it will die. Once it’s low enough, mount the Wyrm and start taming it. Saves you the burden of losing the Voidwyrm to render distance.
I’m sorry but bolas work on these Guys??? Seriously check Dododex and look at what this thing is affected by
Well on my account, I usually have a chemistry bench near me and then trap them. So I feed the from inside. Make sure they follow you into it. Trap them. Tame them. And I needed about 100 of their food to tame because it was 4 percent per feeding.
Heavy Turrets do 185 damage per shot. They shoot 4 bullets at a time. If you measure out the bullets you need according to the voidwyms health, they will get it just down to 10% HP so you can mount it for the passive taming process. So if the health is 5k..do 5000/185. Then multiply that by 4 since the turrets shoot 4 at a time. If you are using 4 turrets just divide by 4 after that to even out ammo between them for faster damage.
Idk if this would count to taming but set 🆙 some turrets to bleed the health then finish the tame. If this works then this would break taming, but then again if this works.
I’m pleading wildcard, STOP WITH THE Passive/aggressive
tames!!!
Yes I haven’t tested this so if you want to be my guest. Obviously you need mutagen but here is what I would do. Now that you can download on Gen2, use a blood wyvern with high stamina. Now you might think why a blood? It would be quicker with an ember wyvern but it lacks 2 vital things, regeneration and conserving stamina. You will burn through all of your stam, making you a sitting dragon for this scenario. But if you use a blood, you can damage it via bite and breath. You use less stamina and can recover lost health with the breath.
You need mutagen for it ( I use at most 5) and get it to ten percent health to tame. And then mount it, do a barrel roll to feed.
Build a 4 dino gate row of gates on a skiff. Doors between each gate. Fly and catch the voidwyrm between the gates. Stand up and tek rifle its hp low. Use HLNA to see its hp. Once rideable let it out of your trap. (Otherwise it will destroy it) ride, feed, tame. Easily lowered the health
You can't trap a voidwyrm with gates I recommend ( if you created a new surviver this won't work I think) but grab it with a skiff and with hn-la scan it and damge it with a weapen like a tek rifle or something else then with the skiff drop it when it's ready it tame with your mutagen put it in your last slot and tame your new Voidwyrm.
If you do see one, hop on it and ride it like a bad as like a normal Friday night mechanical bull
There’s also another method where it won’t let you mount and it becomes a passive tame unless you attack it again this will make its food slowly decrease and it will be a lot longer
They are broke right now. If you miss the timing for the feeding and get knocked off you can't get back on and will have to kill it.
They do breed apparently. Tried it in a solo game with gcm.
If you approach it says HP is too high for taming
