Girls and Boys do I have news for you.

The simple and most effect way that I found involves the use of one soaker, a pump shotgun, and some ammo and mutagen of course 31 to be safe.

Step one: Find a voidwyrm that you want to tame and remember it’s location.

Step two: You will need to summon your soaker via cryo pod on either 1 of 3 things. A nearby space asteroid, the space biom’s structure or the side walls.

(Losing your soaker is highly possible I do recommend using a tracker node on your soaker to find him later)

Step three: Get the voidwyrm’s Aggro and lead it to your soaker.

Let me summarize what you must do as best I can to get you to step four…

You might think why can’t I summon my soaker in space, you could but most of the time the agro will switch to you and not your soaker.

Having the soaker grounded and on foot. As long as you’re furthest away from the voidwyrm than your soaker is. The aggro of the voidwyrm will always go to his closest target.

At this point you want the voidwyrm to shock your tame, not biting it. If the voidwyrm is biting he’s mostly flying around and will eventually aggro on to you. If the voidwyrm is shocking he will become stationary indefinite and continue to shock your soaker.

Step four: Get close, but not closer than your tame is, start shooting the voidwyrm with your pump action until the voidwyrm is ready. A sound and blue flames will come from the voidwyrm which means that it is ready to tame. Move quickly to the void and mount him.

At this point your traps failed because this tame can destroy metal structures and lower tier structures, your probably saying finally I got one… so leave a like send my post up and I hope this helped you as much as it did with me. Happy Ark Hunting everybody

I did some testing, and the void wyrm’s breath attack can stun you off your mount. It can also do a good bit of damage and it can be held indefinitely (the breath attack), but if you are to do so, you will consume stamina constantly over time.

I officially hate these with a passion. Was randomly rushed by 2 wild Voidwyrms while mining element on my astrodelphis(couldn't see them behind the asteroid I approached). They dismounted me twice with their breath attacks and killed me in a few bites. They ripped my Astrodelphis to shreds as I rushed back to reclaim my items, as that happened the clock hit midnight and the asteroid field changed to a different resource, when this happened it pulled my entire inventory I was trying to recover into the void of space. Losing my entire element harvest and my ONLY astrodelphis saddle.

The ark gods are so cruel.

I haven't seen anyone mention this, so here's a quick tip: you can use an Andrewsarchus to tame a Voidwyrm. The saddle does a great job of protecting the rider.

1. If your cluster has Fjordur, try taming an Andrewsarchus first. Equip it with the highest armor saddle you can get (or make sure it has a massive HP pool), and pack a ton of ammo.

2. Mount the Andrew and use the minigun to melt the Voidwyrm's health down. Make sure to use your HLN-A to scan and monitor its exact HP.

3. Once it's low enough and you've confirmed the area is clear, dismount the Andrew and back away a bit so the Voidwyrm keeps aggro on your tame. From there, you can just proceed with the normal taming process.

Idk if you can do it but I just tamed one of these simply by power punching it till I could ride it way easier if you don’t have access to a Tek rifle

Unpod a giga, it will hold agro and tank all damage until you drop its health low enough to mount. Easiest method. Staying mounted can be a pain due to lag or render (when you get to close to walls). If you get dismounted use tek punch to dodge attacks and make your way back to giga and Mount the giga it will retain agro again and get you another chance at it.

This guy should be able to carry shadowmanes !!

For PvE, PERFECT for traversing Space. One of the few creatures that can easily ascend and descend between the rings!

Good to xp farm them. Easy levels boiiiiiiii

For those of you struggling to find one.. there is currently a glitch where the wyrm will spawn and fly directly to 50,50 and die in an acid pool.. it is currently unconfirmed what causes this but people claim it is when you lose aggro of the wyrm.. others claim it happens without being aggro in the first place.. however these are still tameable at times and will not suicide at 50,50 on occasion

I hope it isn't just a tek wyvern cuz there are like 7 wyverns already and it will be pretty boring if it's literally a tek wyvern.

There breath can stun players off mount and destroy metal I hear. SUPER powerful!!!!

Be careful! These things aggro from pretty far away. One of the best ways is to use an astrodelphis. Ride around shooting the voidwyrm you want to tame until you see blue by the wings. That means it's ready to tame. Hop on and feed it mutagen everytime it does the barrel role. Hope this helps and happy taming!

Voidwyrms are great as they are one of the best creatures for taming noglin. But their fertile eggs can also be used for taming Basilisks!

The walls in the bridge are your best friend from their beam attack

In order to tame a voidwyrm you need to put mutagen in the slot 0 and bring him to low healt and ride the beast then give him the mutagen (you can find the mutagen in the rockwell cave)then repeat untill It tames......a voidwyrm is located in the space biome,if upgraded in damage It can be pretty overpowered.i tamed a few of this and make them breed and i killed a giga.
