Few tips for taming umbra and lumina. Having tamed quite a few already I've come up with some tricks to help the process.
For the first mini game you have to memorize the pattern, for me it helps to number each ability 1-4, by numbering them 1-4 you can type each corresponding number in chat to help memorize the pattern, be sure to use tribe or local chat as to not spam the server with numbers.
For the second mini game just attack the orbs or flyers that spawn while kiting them flying backwards to ensure you don't get hit.
The third depends on umbra or lumina, if lumina fly high and dive, watch the blue meter to the left of the reticle in the middle of the screen and as ling as its blue it'll count towards the dive, you may have to perform multiple dives in order to beat this mini game.
For umbra I found it easiest to use the claw dash attack, dicing and just flying doesn't seem to be enough to compete it but 8-10 claw dash attacks will finish it easily.

It’s a mini game -
1st one you are basically playing Simon says with its actions ( left roll, back flip, 180 turn, right roll ).
2 game is like the oasisaur (you fly around trying to avoid taking damage while dealing damage) easy way to do this is to kite all the argies and pteras into one group while maintaining distance. Use toothless’s charge attack for the fire balls hitting them all at once and you should complete that game quickly
3 (travel in a short time) fly high up into the air and nose dive. You’ll complete this easily
4 make sure either kibble or mutton is on the last box of your hot bar to feed it its taming food. Then rinse and repeat until it is tamed
These also spawn on astreos in the desert region at night!
Not sure if anyone else has posted this, but when taming, you are able to control the movement and direction of thr dragon while riding it. Use this opportunity to fly as far and as high up as you can. The closer to the ceiling the better in order to minimize your chances of colliding with player built structures, and to maximize your chance of a good diving distance during the third phase of the taming game. Ive found this helps a lot on Ragnarok around the Red Ob region

Extraordinary Kibble did give me the 100% taming efficiency on Official
For some reason it keeps knocking me off even after I do a successful input
Found they do spawn on Astearos.
Time frame to try and tame them is 22:30-06:30 roughly
I have seen two per night so far.
I used extraordinary kibble but expecetional works as well.
*You don't have to do this but it worked for me*
I found one, shot it once with a shotgun for aggro. After it aggroed to me lining up the shot with the dragon claw to grapple was simple.
Once mounted it will show the moves it wants you to repeat. Follow moves exactly in the order given.
Next will be to travel distance. I simply just dived and got it done quick.
Last one is to do damage without taking any. ( They will spawn PTs and argys to attack you so watch out*) I recommend using the breath attack while flying backwards or away from the dinos chasing you.
Then jet feed it kibble.
Worse part right now is lag or DCing while attempting this.

You have to craft a drake claw which takes 25 element shards per shot. Shoot the umbra with your drake claw and you will immediately start the mini games.
1. Memorize Umbras flight patterns and copy when it tells you to
2. Damage Dinos without taking damage (fly in circles backwards and shoot umbras breath attack)
3. Fly up high and dive down
4. Feed exceptional kibble or mutton
Rinse and repeat until you have a tame!
For PS players….L2 R2 and double tap on left joystick or right …. that’s all you need to know! The second game just circle hold L2 until full and shoot ahead of the grouped Dino’s till dead! Dive down to avoid damage and start charging again! Rinse repeat!
