Try to find a short rock to stand on if you can’t afford a trap if your a solo when the their approaches you while you are on high rock put two stone+ Dino gates behind the theri then knocked it out it likes Mejoberries the best

To knock this thing out you need a high spot where they can't reach you. They like crops more than berries, so get some carrots to tame it.

Everyone says these guys are powerful. Not to me! I practically live next to them. I adapted to them and I already have about 5. All you need to do is get on a rock where they can’t reach. Then load them with tranq arrows or darts. I make a lot of kibble, so taming them is not to difficult to me. But still be wary of these creatures as they do kill you and your Dino’s fast.

Block of a path with stone pillars, lead it into the pillars( close enough together that only you can slip through). While it attacks the pillars tranq it with tranq arrows and a crossbow- you don’t really have to wait between shots since it’s health is really good (800ish for lvl. 1). If it’s a level one, it goes down fairly quick. Taming process can take an hour or two. For me, it took about 160 narcotics, so be prepared. Be careful though, majority of tickle chickens are in dangerous areas and it’s hard to lure them out. Good luck!

Do not use slingshot on tickle fingers. It dies.

OP in the wild but tame a high level and you’ll be set for the rest of ARK

They are easily knocked out using a 4 Dino stone gateway 2 stone gate taking pen. Use tranq arrows or darts and then your set

They usually get stuck in trees and stuff like that so get in front of them when they are stuck craft a crossbow and like 50 tranq arrows and fire away at their head every 5 seconds and you fill need tons of narcotics but I prefer bio toxin from jellyfish and I think that works better than narcotics and they eat Megalosoures kibble or Rockarrots and have yourself a Rex killing machine

I’m level 50 yet every time I see one of these dang things, I run as fast as I can, cause if I get 1 step too close, it will kill me. So stay away from it unless your completely ready for a fight even Godzilla would lose, but still a good tame

I was sailing around on my taming boat when I spotted one of theese, after I barely trapped it into my boat I didn’t realize that I was using stone arrows and it died. I was devastated.

If you want to kill these creatures because they linger around your base, be equipped with a sword and a simple pistol. You shoot them from afar and if they get too close, grab your sword immediately! If you want to tame them, either make a field of large bear traps, or shoot them from above if it's safe (stand on a object where they can't reach you or damage the object). In either cases you need to tranq them out, so don't even think of using a wooden club. Maybe you'll find a gap in a cliff and lure them into it. They fall from the cliff and you can tranq them out, but it won't be easy tho. There are enough trees and rocks they'll accidentally hide behind while trying to attack you. Also if they get too far, aiming with a crossbow will be hard.

Bring TONS of narcotics. Because I found myself running around for half an hour real time, looking for berries; because the torpor rate went down really fast! And it took absolutely FOREVER for a low level 2. (My servers taming rights are turned up fairly high.)

If you have a friend with a saddled bronto taming this will be easy

Use a boat get out a bit lure it and hit it with tranqs until it runs to the beach then traunq it

Get a tapejara hang on a steep wall upside down and shoot him in head with darts. Make sure he can’t hit you tho otherwise ull die second hit. Wait for him to starve then put crops in. Needs bout 100+ narcos for low level

heres how i got mine. put six stone pillars down. three on each side. put one more between them than put down a large bear trap. lead it into the pen. once trapped in bear trap run around and place the final stone pillar behind it. shoot it with tranqs and than knock it out. give it your choice of food. give it bio toxin to keep it unconceous. i got my level 14 doing this. follow this strategy and he or she is yours!

Just be prepared cause these take more tranq arows then you think! (mine toke like 57)

Use Fresonis's taming trap it works great. I have tamed three therizinos with it and nothing went wrong for once

Kite it into a large bear trap, then pepper it with narco arrows.
