Me finding out that these can be traped:

I tamed a lvl 150 at lvl 27 (I'm on mobile,used 10× soothing balm)

Tips:use 2×2×2 stone box with one doorframe and wooden ramps,try not to aggro more than one and it will be pretty easy

Not too difficult to tame, just time consuming, but one of the best harvesters for wood and Fibre - level power harvesting for an end to your wood problems, or delicate for an end to your Fibre ones. Tame a low level flyer e.g. ptera (hint: bola). Make a 2x2x2 or 2x3x2 stone trap using foundations and door frames and on one side of trap put stone stairs and switch to ramp. Fly around it to lure it toward trap (ramp). Once in trap just shoot with tranq arrows and bow or crossbow (just bring some resource to repair if bow breaks or use nearby). Then just need crops or mejoberries AND like 9-12 stacks narcoberries even for 150 lvl, this should work (hint: useful to bring a parasaur or trike to help harvest and store berries you'll need to top up while taming). After the grind you have a monster chicken at your command.

I never use traps I use a tape and tranqs in a rocky area. It gets stuck if you stay on the leg and tranq it’s head taming likely requires soothing or narcotics/bio toxin taming mine while lvl 56 rn

YOU NEED MORE NARCOTICS if you are using something that isn’t kibble you will need at least 160 narcotics. Don’t make the same mistake I did.

When it has less than 5k torpor use three bear traps and toxicant arrows (i dont know if TW is on ark pc) and get biotoxin to keep it down

They need to review how many narcotics are needed. Tried taming a level 3 with 150 narcs, plus narco berries and 400 berries and it chugged em back like juice. You need a ton.

Overview-

Therizinosaurus is well… A triceratops a steroids. Practically can do everything a triceratops can but just better. Great attackers, harvesters, and overall just a great dinosaur.

Food for Taming-

I tested it myself and apparently they don’t eat meat. They are just aggressive. I’ve seen a lot of people think it eats meat but it doesn’t. They are herbivores!

Encountering-

90% chance you can’t outrun it. I think you need about 190% movement or more to run away. If you just want there claws then use another dinosaur like a trex or spino. But just a level 7 can do 100+ DAMAGE. That’s with a taming de buff too.

Utility-

They can harvest more than 1000+ wood with only one swipe! Again that is just for a level 7! Not even a 150. They are also practically just a herbivore Rex. They can do big amounts of damage

I’ve tried this thing and it EATS DINOS bus dosent est 🥩 when you KO it and try to tame it. It’s also a worthy tame and gatherer

Don't use the starve timer. I followed it and it only had my tame at 22.6% when it said it should be 100%

Net and harpoon gun are both unlocked at lv 43 use these to subdue him than shoot with tranq arrows or better yet shock darts. Once he’s asleep make sure to have plenty I mean plenty of narcos 800 min. Use kibble or veggies to tame good luck survivors

If you see one (unless you have bolas or gate traps) RUN AWAY FASTER THEN THEN THE MILLISECOND IT SNAPS INTO KILLMODE

I stood on a rock and shot one with darts

I grabbed all my biotoxin(150)

IT TOOK ALL MY BIOTOXIN AND IT WASNT EVEN ENOUGH

Then I realized it was a level 12

Holy sh-

These guys/girls are a need tame all that I did to tame him was sit on a rock and shot it in the head with tranqs. Just do that and you should be fine.

Super hard to tame but I'd say they're worth it. Great gatherers and it's fun to watch them kill things
