Tamed a 189 in the savannah of valguero. Had to move him to a safe location and found a great spot where my saber could run around in circles. It would stop and then i could tranq dart him. Bring narcotics and kibs. If you dont have either, narcberries and crops can be used. Slow tame and very fast topor. I was pretty much on it for two game nights and after feeding it 50 narcberries, id run and get more. I easily push 750 berries in it. Thing is a beast though.

Knocking it out was only slightly difficult, my high level Direbear tanked the damage until I could pump enough tranq darts in to him. The hard part for me as keeping it asleep and alive. I actually built a custom little house next to the unconscious dude and started producing narcotics to feed it. I took the thing down near the base of the bug volcano on the island and it gets freezing cold there at night. I'm fairly positive the extreme cold was killing there creature to I had to sit there and force feed the thing, losing all taming effectiveness but keeping it alive. Suffice it to say the game worked, though it's definitely the hardest I've done, and I still have my Theriz to this day.

This thing is a beast, when trying to tame a 135 it was doing 40 damage a hit and I had 1800 armor score. The only way to tame a high level is to trap it because like I said they are BEASTS!

Force feed meat tames faster food goes down and torpor goes up

Easy to knock it out, harder to tame it. I tamed two theris and mated them, i got twins and i was very happy. Taming it its very hard, in order to knock it out, be at a high rock, then get tranq arrows then knock it out.

Use large bear traps to trap it and tranq it

Make sure the rock you’re shooting from is high enough... also will chase you across half the damn map. RIP me

These handsome and beautiful little cuties can help you with gathering things for your forge table! In fact, they can raise your Exp. high if your level lower than the expected level to get its saddle (lvl. 69). To tame it, I recommend to stay by its side while it’s sleeping after knocking it out. Then apply soothing balm to speed up the process. Give it vegetables. If the torpid happens to drop fast, use bio toxins. [reminder: If your a noob, wait until you get a crossbow and arrows to knocks it out.]

Take the high ground where it can't reach you and start using tranq arrows/darts to knock it out. Either stock up on narcoberries beforehand or after and you are set.

At first, stay away at all costs. Although Freddy Couger here seems to be extremely powerful (which he is), he has a very low toupor rate, so only takes a few narcotic arrows and he’s down, whether you’re trying to kill him or tame, or just get away. But if you are trying for it’s tame, it has losses toupor fast, so bring plenty of narcotics.

If you want to tame this thing then grab 3 large bear traps and 16 tranq arrows and carry a bunch of bio toxin in my opinion bring like 50 or 75 and bring berries like at least 136

I tamed a lvl 150 before via using 2x2 foundation and 2 walls high with a ramp on the side. All I used were stone. Took me long before I tamed it but it's worth. It can defend my base from anything,though she's only my resource dino.

So I tamed one of these because I thought “why not”, so I knocked it out and started feeding it. I didn’t have any narcotics, but I had over 100 bio toxin. I waited 5 whole days, went through about 80 of the bio toxin, and almost died of starvation and dehydration for this thing. But it was totally worth it! That thing have saved my life soooo many times. Everyone should try to tame it.

Ok to knock out get your tape then get a therizinos attention then cling on a rock and tranq it also just use kibble it took me an hour to tame a level 9 with crops

Make a line of large bear traps 3 to 4 snipe it to get its attention, shoot it in the face with a crossbow and it will fall to your grasp, (called it activating my trap card)

I tried to tame one. I ran out of narcotics and had to use my iguanodon to gater berries to make more. But meat didn't spoil quick to keep it down.

May seem carnivorous but isn't, you'll need a large bear trap and tranq arrows, don't stand on a rock, they are tall and will knock you off then you'll take fall damage. Oddly the lower the level the better because they'll tame faster. Level 4 would take up to 2 hours to tame.

It's easy to lure these breeds of Freddy Krueger and ducks to a taming bin. But it takes a long while to tame them, be sure you have more than enough narcotics and mejos.

A level 10 PC these is a 4 hour tame on regular rates, and has a torpor drop of about 3.5 torpor a second and had about 1600 torpor.

To tame these you genuinely need kibble anything else and it takes almoast an hour to tame it. Normally this wouldnt be a problem for some players but ot wakes up in around 5 muinites and takes around 50 narcotics to put it back to sleep. You would have to do this around 15 more times to starve tame even a low level one. Use kibble.
