I am on Ragnarok and I was able to get it stuck in trees. They get stuck in trees very easily if you're away from your base. Don't bring a high level back to your base or you will lose everything lol. I used about 60 narq arrows to keep it down. If it wasn't for Ichy birds bugging me non-stop it would've been a very easy tame. Took about 1 hr. It was a level 25 I think. Still this thing is a farming beast. Good luck! They hit like a bus, so be ready to die.

To trap:

Use stone building 4 foundations with door frames all around perimeter and 2 walls high. On outside place stairs on one side- this will be the side it chases u up. Once it’s in the trap knock it out with tranq arrows.

Recommend have berry gatherer with u- need A LOT of narco.

If you wanna kill this terror, get far away and start shooting, that should give you time in case of a disaster.

I am on 32 level and i just tamed this beast. I build a trap with stone walls and use 16 arrows( green one) and then i use 10% tameing effect medicine and use barries.

They do damage to stone builds so hurry and knock it out before it breaks through our traps

This guy is a really stubborn tame!

But personally, my favourite method is to find one on my Ptera, land on a high up rock or cliff side where it can’t get me, have 20+ tranq arrows, more depending on how high a level it is, and shoot it continuously till it drops, be warned! It will try to run away once it’s high on torpor. Make sure to have plenty of narcotics, 80+ bio-toxin works like a treat, lure the jellyfish near the surface by getting in the water, then go on land and shoot them and harvest their jelly. Also make sure to have atleast 1000+ mejo berry’s on you for it since they work or use a special kibble for them. But this way is the easiest if you hate making traps like me. Its torpor goes down very quickly.

Just climb the largest stone shoot it with tranq darts when it's down put some of that lovely shoothing balm put some berries and your done taming it hope it helps.

They are so hard to knock out amd at the same time the torpor drain fast as hell. My poor ming ming died(dodo) my first ever tame🤧

Before taming, please clear the area of DILOS. THEY HATE THERIS. And will try their best to mess up the taming effectiveness. Keep a trike or couple of pachys on aggressive near your tame.

So use a trap if you don’t wanna die like a thousand times.

don’t try to tranq it while running it’s torpor drains quickly and should it will shrug off each arrow so find a small perch go up to it and start shooting it I recommend bringing an iguanadon to chase it down when it runs

Idk if this was a glitch or not but me and my friend were taming 2 on genesis 1 and they just disappeared

To keep it unconscious feed it bio toxin helps a ton

When taming this you only need 16 stone pillars and one large bear trap.

Put the pillars in a 3 x 3 formation and stack another pillar on top of the other ones. Leave an opening on one end so the threz can get in. Put the bear trap in there and lead the threz into the trap and then place the last pillars.

Then you'll have an easy knock out. Except it does do damage to stone but it doesn't do much damage so just be careful.

First tip i've done but up if this helps

Ez tame I recommend for beginners just get a crossbow with twenty five trank arrows if your a good shot get soothing blame the thing that the jellyfish drops mejobrres

Knock it out with tranq arrows/tranq darts.

Choose your smoothing balm

1.minor smoothing balm you can tame it with this but it's way slower put a sleeping bag and sleep make sure you brought lots of narcotics 170 will be enough just in case craft more if you need.

2.using major smoothing balm will do it a lot faster

You can tame him pretty quick

Made a stone and metal 3x3 metal floor on a raft and stone door frames for walls 3 high then built a 1x3 3 story high base along the back so i had a 1x3 base and 2x3 Taming pin with a stone dino gate. Will upgrade to all metal at some point. The taming raft also has a 5 story tall taming tower using a stone roof on top of a pillor stack. Great mobile taming cage. Caught one of these bu waiting for it to get next to the water or in shallow water and sail the raft over it tell its in the taming area and wait for it to move and when it does it will pop up into the taming pin. Then sailed away with it to my base on the coast to insure we wouldn’t be attacked while taming. Climbed to the taming tower platform and stunned it with the xbow and tamed. The walls took about 350 damage out of 10,000 so easy fix and just as easy tame. Ive used this mobile capture pen to catch allo’s, bary’s, stegosaurus’s and rex’s. Going to try a spino

I just tanked it’s hits from my chalic and spammed tranq arrows from her back. It worked, surprisingly! My chalic was at half health by the time the theri was knocked out, though.

We saw one and got it preoccupied on a cliff. We shot it with tranq until it fell asleep. Give it plenty of narcotics or it will wake up.
