It says 59 narco juice but my level 95 took about 250-300 and my level 145 took about 400 juice. My server is in 2.5x taming so I don’t know if that has anything to do with it. Hope this helps!

Fun fact if u want one early game : find a lvl 12 or lower (for mobile use balm if u have some) use ur crossbow knock it out and feed it mejios ( on pvp servers if u don’t have bio and it’s still on good health just club it if u don’t care abt taming Affection) then ask someone for narcos

These guys are imobilised by large bear traps. They are made in the smithy and are soooo cheap.

Align 3 or 4 large bear traps in a line and wait for them to open.

Shoot the theri and run behind the traps. Once locked, shoot him and stay behind the traps.

Then feed and narco just so u know it takes time with berries.

Just built a 3x3 hut 3 block high (woodens) and wooden ramp so it could climb in...an door so you can exist while it was trapped in...and walah ez shot- i manage to tame one at level 23 while it was at level 100. But It might take while for it to be trapped cuz sometimes it goes to the side😅 (remember to have a lot narcotic! And bio toxin work the best to keep it down!) As a low level or beginner who isn’t up to par with materials or leveling to fight these brutes, I have a simple trick!

First, strip completely naked and put all your items into a tame’s inventory.

Then, run up to the asshole, and punch it. Let it follow you, AND DONT TURN AROUND! Lead it far away from your base until it or something else catches you.

Respawn, and done! Rinse and repeat until you can kill it!

Please at least use a trap or two to tame this terrifying chicken that gave me nightmares. (I still have it now)

To tame one my opinion is to make a 2X2X2 trap with stone foundation and doorway and make four ramps then hit or just pass right infront of the theri it will agro on you and follow you in this case I prefer a flyer cause theris are fast so you have to be quick now that you have trapped it you have to know there torpor drops really fast it's best to have bio toxin on narcotics with you and if you can have some soothing balm because if you want to tame one with barries it only goes by like 0.6/1 % once tamed you have one of the best tamed mine was a 780 in harvore mode ark Mobile

On mobile if you have a hard time taming one just go get soothing balm from Artifact of The Hunter. The cave is extremely easy, just always go left with your bary and you will be there in no time.

It cannot break stone in mobile.

Containment this dinosaur I would recommend you save up a bunch of bio toxic

It took many different trys but i finally got one if u have access make 3 (large bear traps) he will get stuck for a minuite so fire off 3 tranq arrows then be ready to put down the next one! Fyi the ome i got was only level 20 so have more traps just in case! Mine took 2 but he still almost got me hahahappy hunting

Secret tip from people that breed max lvls therzions. The current rating for these guys on harvesting prime meat is wrong. All melee build plus all power harvest perk can give 80+ on tiny lvl 10s... on 150 perfect tames we rake in way over 200 prime for one alpha raptor. Stomps all over the giga in terms of prime gathering. See a random alpha raptor? You have a few stacks of cooked prime if you pack grills on a quetz and a fridge or 6...

I knocked out a 150 with my longneck and forgot my narcotics at base luckily i had my trike with me and just farmed like 3k narco berries and tamed it

This guy is a really stubborn tame!

But personally, my favourite method is to find one on my Ptera, land on a high up rock or cliff side where it can’t get me, have 20+ tranq arrows, more depending on how high a level it is, and shoot it continuously till it drops, be warned! It will try to run away once it’s high on torpor. Make sure to have plenty of narcotics, 80+ bio-toxin works like a treat, lure the jellyfish near the surface by getting in the water, then go on land and shoot them and harvest their jelly. Also make sure to have atleast 1000+ mejo berry’s on you for it since they work or use a special kibble for them. But this way is the easiest if you hate making traps like me. Its torpor goes down very quickly.
