I finally tamed one of these, it was a low lvl one. When you tame this animal be prepared to have alot of narcotics on hand, this thing will take a tremendous amount of them.

Basic Logic For Basic Materials

Therizinosaurus = General/Fiber

Doedicurus = Stone

Casteroides = Wood

Ankylo = Metal/Flint

Using Therizinosaurus’ wood harvesting ability can decimate the charcoal trees in volcano biomes (Like the one of Fjordur). This makes gunpowder an absolute breeze if utilized right.

People heavily overestimate how difficult these are to tame. Just use 4 metal billboards and a large bear trap. This will only cost you 146 metal ingots, 40 cementing paste, 10 hide and 15 fiber. If you demolish it afterwards it will cost half that number. The taming effectiveness barely goes down when you use mejoberries, so use those. Do not feed it narcotics, feed it mejoberries instead. The reason for this is; the torpidity on narcoberries goes up slower than narcotics, this means they will keep the therizino asleep for a longer time period. The saddle for it is unlocked at level 69 (nice), and that's all you need to know.

If you are a starter on the beach, level up as quickly as possible and learn the wooden spike wall engram. Make at least to circles around your house with spike walls and you can keep your base safe for a while, if you have a separate structure for you tames, (depending on how any or the size of the tame), for a para, make it at least a 5x5 so it fits entirely inside the structure. Then do the spike wall method and your tame will last a lot longer and won’t die when you log. Stay safe!

Hey guys don’t write many tips, but found this pretty interesting and hadn’t seen a post regarding it. If you take the TC (Tickle Chicken) into the swamp and find the little dead looking brambles, use it’s delicate attack and it will harvest LOADS of species X seeds.

Therizinos aré arguably one of the best tames.

Theire quite fast. Strong and EXELENT farmers, they can farm mushrooms,hide,quitin, Wood, although lack Weight reduction on these, and Berrys and Fiber.

Have damage reduction on fire witch makes them actually a good option to beat the Dragon.

Quite hard to tame due to theire torpor drain but totally worth it.

Easiest way I’ve found to tame is get trapped with a tree some how I got a 150 against a tree and a cliff and it knocked out after 35 tranq arrows from a primitive crossbow it will need narcotics though to keep out also remember it is a herbivore not a carnivore
