If you have no kibble, tame it with berries. And never try taming a Theri without 200 bio toxin in inventory, and remember gathering the berries with an iguanodon! Use bear traps (large bear traps) at least 2 to kock out a therizino, but remember using an crossbow with tranq arrows.

Ok to tame these you don’t need kibble. I just tamed a lvl 100 one by using this new technique. So what you want to do is only feed it stimberries which tames it but also lowers the food. When you get it to a decent taming percent and a decent food the pump him full of mejoberries and he should tame in a matter of minutes, It also only takes about half of the time it only took me about 3-4 hrs. The only downside to this is that you are getting no extra lvls from taming effectiveness so you should definitely try this on any herbivore. 2019

Get a good bow/crossbow/longneck

For ammo use tranq arrows/tranq darts/shocking tranq darts

Build a 3x3 stone foundation, place doorframes on the sides, build it 2 on each foundation and place ramps on any side of the trap

Get the theri's aggro and go up the ramp and fall through the doorframes

If you did it right it should be in the trap

Now knock it out with your tranq of choice

Make sure to bring lots of narcotics because it loses torpor fast

If you are new and you see one of these things near you don't try to tame it. It is just as aggressive as the one in the movie

NEVER put tames passive near this thing.

You can tame it early game if you climb up onto a tall rock or ledge, that is how I got my first one.

I first encountered this creature while riding on my trike. It noticed me and I did the only thing I knew to do: have my trike swing his head around. Next thing I knew, it was dead. I don't remember the level of the therizinosaur, but I think the damage reduction at the front of the trike helped.

160% movement speed is a good amount to have. Keep in mind that this walking KFC will still be right behind you anyway because they are FAST.

So I'm not going to stop you from using stone traps just beware that they can break through it and please be prepared if it does happen.(so keep a flyer near you incase of that possibility) if you keep a flyer near you I would cryo it before trapping said theri so it doesn't aggro to it

Make sure you have 4 to 5 business days to waste if you don’t have anything but berries:) also make sure you bring a lot of narco berrys cause torpor decreases fast

Make sure to have about 100 tranq arrows before you start. A good level to look for is 250. When knocked out have 300 narcotics or 150 bio.

Insanely strong. I have a Theri named Serene, with 1000% damage, and 10,000 health. Whenever I’m riding her I feel unstoppable. I highly recommend getting one, amazing harvester and fighter.

If you want to tame it get 20-30 trank arrows ready and A lot of narcotics

I was taming a lvl12 and needed 120 narcotics and 60 bio toxin 🙁 stay safe

taming kinda hard

first make crossbow with lots of tranq arrow

second make two big bear trap

three find one only one

four place one down

five just shoot it with tranq arrow

six just wait until he gets trap by the big bear trap

seven when he traped just place the second big bear trap at the therizino's back

eight just go to the therizino's front

nine keep shooting with tranq arrow make sure to not run out of

ten then the big bear trap will disappear then he will run then he will ne traped by the second one

eleven keep shooting until unconscious

twelve put a soothing balm

thirteen put any berries in it then some narotic

fourteen when he almost waking up feed the narotic

fifteen wait until tamed the there you go

when this is tamee your lucky you just make therizino kibble then feed to basilosaurus then you have the bronto of the sea

Guys if you use soothing balm and rockarrot it does 26 tame percentage

Tedious. Is a word I would use to describe the experience with this guy whether gathering or fighting(especially in heavily wooded areas). I mean I can't count how many times I had to go to my inventory to dump ALL THE WOOD in there from just picking off the annoying raptors whose idea for mass extinction is death by tickle. So yeah, other than it's weight and lack of weight reduction for anything, I've no gripe about it. It can gather anything you need to quickly set up a forward operating base, can kill most things short of alphas, gigas, higher lv rexes/spino etc with ease. Its base HP and scaling is low but good enough for it's purposes. It's a combat engineer anyway and not a main battle tank.

Oh taming also requires dedication, serious dedication.
