Torpor drains fast so while they're asleep fill their inventory up with tons of junk so they cant run away once woken up

The Terror Bird is an excellent example of form over function. While it still outshines the Raptor in terms of raw stats, the exchange of a pack bonus for the glide ability is a tough trade. It doesn’t help that the Terror Bird is harder to find than the Raptor and that it’s completely unavailable on Aberration— where it would be arguably one of the map’s most valuable tames. Still, the Terror Bird remains my favorite creature (as it introduced me to ARK in the first place!) and serves great utility as a pet for companionship, like a very large and somewhat bald parrot.

Good all around tame, useful early or late game for exploring terrain and caves. Water travel isn't the greatest but then again it's not a fish.

I always kill them on sight except for one I named Kylo he was once a hero. He fought a raptor to protect me and he also saved me from falling off a cliff. Best Terror Bird Ever

Well lets just say...if you find a big group of them and they see you .. RUN this thing is fast and i havent seen it but ive watched someone die from it idk the level of him though sadly

Made a base in the redwoods on mobile. Therefore, I always get raided by at least one of these guys daily. Carnos, dire bears, purlovias, argents, and allosauruses not included. Good thing I’m a tamer. I got about 17 dinos ready to kick their asses out of my base. I also get a stack of hide easily in a day. Got over 60 stacks and I don’t know what to do with them.

Use big carnivores to deal with these, and yes, raptors will do.

A must know

3 ways to tame them:

1. Make a stone trap (foundstion, doorframe, ramp, etc.). Get a bird, fly the bird, drag a dodo or a person around and make them bait. Without killing anyone the terror bird will be chasing you while you're flying in the air. Lure it into trap.

2. If you don't have a bird, you can solo it or do it with a friend. Find a terror bird. Start running to the trap. (Probably will die so put a bed in trap and respawn then repeat till bird gets trapped).

3. Bola it, shoot fast, bola it again before it tries attacking you or running away, shoot at it again.

TAKES AWHILE FOR THEM TO GO UNCONCIOUS. I once made the mistake and kept shooting as it took about 20 minutes for it to go unconcious it died from me shooting it too much.

The Terror Bird is one of the most annoying Dinos in ark. I’ve lost so many tames like Carno and Equus. Kill any near by before taming don’t make the same mistake I made

Very underrated mount, especially for caves. They're pretty small so can fit in most areas. Pump up the HP and just travel light. They're very fast and the gliding ability is great.

Super easy taming idea put a 2 by 2 stone trap next to your base then with a argentavis drop one of the buggers In there and boom your right next to your base and you can keep it safe like a pro

If you jump off a ledge and hold your jump button you can glide with this beast

These big dodos are dangerous like i encountered two and ran and looked back and theres more of them and i died i was trying to tame bigfoot
