These things are fast, try throwing a bola at it and kill it with something

When knocking out, it's a good idea to Bola it, then tranq it. Check on it frequently, because the torpor drop is very high.

Their torpor drains VERY fast, so bring tons of Narco or just use an Argent to haul this guy to your base and tame him there.
