A simple trap, 5x 5x stone foundations, leave a side open and place 4-5 doorframes high on each side place a behemoth gate on the open side, lead the spino in and close the gate quickly or place the gate down if you still have it, stsrt tranqing.

These guys are amazing for exp for some reason a 150 spino gives nearly three times more than a 150 Rex

Give him lot fish, and this spino can fight any creature for you, spino eat fish for fast generating health

Spinosaurus are excellent fishermen. They are like and all Terran vehicle. They can cover alot of open ground and a good bit of water. Not recommended for deep ocean exploits as jelly fish wil sting and stun them , they'll drown in the time it takes to wake up. They're good at clearing a path for a base and can carry alot like a T-Rex. Good at harvesting prime regular and fish meat and trophies for the obelisk.

Better mount than the Rex since the TLC came put.

The spinosaurus has been confirmed to get a tlc update in phase 2 making it like the iguanodon with a claw attack and doing more damage but in bipedal stance it is slower but in quadruped stance it moves faster.and when u go into the water with with it it gets a buff.

Imprinted spinos are really good with thousands of health and able to do 1000 damge

If you play on ps4 and have speed when tamed all the way up go in water and go into the land and you will lottery fly across the map not on mobile unless you only level up speed 😎

These things take hella fall damage. Just a 1 meter drop and 90% of your spinos hp is evaporated

Rexes are for the big hits and high health but these guys attack and move way faster

You can still ride a Spino if you don't have a saddle yet by hopping on their tail and walking to where you want to stay. It's similar to the Sarco's "living raft" ability. Just whistle to where you want your Spino to run or swim, and they will carry you. How do I get onto their back, you ask? I make sure the front paws are higher than the rear paws so I can jump onto their spiky tail. Position yourself right, and set them to Aggressive, and you can watch one of nature's ultimate predators hunt everything around it.

While it doesn't have the raw stopping power of the giga or the health and stamina of a rex, the spino has been my preferred mount mainy due to how fast it can move, especially with the hydration buff and it's potential for being a cheap alternative for killing alphas if you don't have a high lvl rex or giga. I have killed Alpha Rexes with a Spino on numerous occasions.

Better than the rex for combat. Look up Cantex Spino vs Rex on YT. It’s also faster and has better stamina. All in all just freaking awesome.
