If you have a flying mount, you dont even need to make a trap to tame a Spino, just make use of the terrain around you, dont shoot him from a rock too far from him, it will lose the interest in you, try to find a spot to stay kinda close to him, but where he cant reach you... To lure him, let him hit you once and then try to keep a close distance to him so it doesnt lose the interest and keeps following you, but notice Spinos are really fast. If the Spino starts running away from you after you shoot some tranqs on him, thats how you know its starting to go down, so ride your flying mount, chase the Spino and shoot him with the tranqs, but be careful that If you take too long to shoot him again, he loses torpor really fast and may turn against you again! 😉

I talk by experience, I've tamed a Spino and other strong dinos like a Rex just by using the terrain around.

If more people can see this advice, it's way more exciting taming dinos this way than making traps, but thats risky! 😂😁

Most people's tips are useless, here is a big tip: when taking these guys just get on a cliff even if it's far second tip: spino sucks underwater, it is too slow, get a sarco or megalodon they turn much faster... my spino died to a manta because it couldn't turn

The best way to tame them is with about 200 narcotics and tranq darts and raw fish meat but you usualy want to tme in a tribe

All you need are some tranqs and a sword and a sickle, oh and armour. Knock out the spino (anyway you would like to do it). Then punch a sabertooth salmon and wait, be prepared for battle. All the sabertooth salmon will start attacking you, I like to call this a "party". After you kill all of them with your sword, or really whatever you want, use the sickle oh then and get HUNDREDS of prime fish meat. Now take that spino!!!

The mutton amount and timer is wrong for this tame, takes about a half hour longer and about 12 mutton more...

Spinos are harder to tame than rexes because 1. They are faster, 2. They deal much higher damage on 2 legged stance and much faster at dealing it too

first get some materials to craft some structures and make a trap if you dont know how to type how to make a trap for a spino then if you know what to do now go back to the game and do what exactly that guy did

I’d prefer taming on gen using: a high durability cross bow with tranq darts extraordinary kibble and ascerbic mushrooms so go up in air with the tek jetpack shoot it till it goes to have a dream wait till hunger goes down a bit and then feed it the kibble

These can take out an alpha raptor or an alpha Caron

Step 1 find spino

Step 2 get like 12 shocking tranqs

Step 3 knock out and feed raw fish meat and give it bio toxin for narcotics (from jellyfish)

Step 4 enjoy your new pal

Step 5 find an annoying alpha creature

Step 6 sneak up with full stamina and have your spino on 2 legs

Step 7 spam the attack button until it dies and use knock back to your advantage if you time it they can’t lay 1 hit on you!

Step 8 celebrate that your spino gained like 5-20 levels! :)

To kill a spino you should yous a flamethrower or

fabricated sniper rifle and gile stuff if you get in a long chase go away from your home and don't go in the water or in a super flat area try to keep it weaving in and out of the rocks in the forest and the trees be safe and take no chances in ark

If you want to tame these beast but your not a high level try looking for one that is near a cliff then go to the top of a cliff and rain down tranq arrows.Use prime meat if you have any of you do not use fish meat and soothing balm

ARK MOBILE

-Make a 3*3 box stone trap. With 3 height wall, and ramp on one side.

-Simply just bait them into the trap using either flying/fast land mount.

-Knock it out using tranq arrow/dart

P.s. On mobile, you can tribute Artifact of The Massive (Lava Cave) to get higher quality Longneck Rifle so you can knock out dino easily

You should take this beast with tranq darts or shock tranqs and bring at least 100 bio toxin for below lvl 10 and 250 for above lvl 10

Starve tame it, just lead the spino into a non dangerous area and sleep in a sleeping bag, the next in game day it will starve now just ko it and and shove raw fish meat in it's mouth and you got a apex predator that protects you from its own kind.

The best way to tame a spino is get a tapejara and switch seats make sure your tapejara is on follow and shoot the spino with tranqdarts

I tamed it by using 8 small dino doors and alot of meat

Tame this monster with raw meat if you want and knock it out with most likely a half of the durability of a crossbow: Tranq arrow. They are found in most swamps but can also be found next to any type of River or water source. These dinosaurs are Tanks and are super strong at times and super swift at others! They also breed a lot and are very strong and loyal to their owners I advise taking these for midgame+ I don’t think this is the best starter tame but if you pull it off grow your army till you get a titanasaur or giganotosaurus

My base now has torches on the small parts where I can’t place the rail! Also there are to spaces swamp and normal I also got a female giga lvl 1331!! Her name is Giganaro and she lives on the top part.. soon she will be moved to the bottom floor so I can stop using god mode to force her up there eek the elevators are to weak... I also added a industrial cooker! That’s it for now check back in next time!!

I chase both of mine down with tranq dart but try and trap them instead they are over powered by lvl 120 which isn’t to long in my opinion there better than gigas

I got mine by shooting it from the top of a cliff with tranq arrows. Of course, I’m sure the game was glitching cause I tamed him in five seconds. Literally.
