These guys are way better than rexes (in my opinion) they're also more versatile as they can swim and have a quick running speed and are usually better than rexes (but if you need brute force and strength the rex would be better) I hope this was a good tip

It is dangerous just knock it unconscious and try to tame it this app tells you how to do it one live beside my house and I could not go out my door so I tamed it

If your on a pvp server or pvx that’s in pvp and you see a sail with a strap on it… you and anyone nearby will be dead… happened to me and I knew what it was and I ran but the spino and the person caught up too fast and ate me… I lost monkey

I just knocked him out with tranq arrows then gave him fish meat normal fish meat and bio toxin waited 30 min and tamed

when i tamed my spinosaurs i didn’t have any narcos at the time, but i was lucky enough to find tons of nearby berries and to also have my friend on me. it ended up working out fine, but tldr make sure you have narcotics. these bad boys (and girls) wake up pretty fast

For the love of God, make a trap to keep it contained and keep it away from the water as much as possible so the dumb thing doesn’t drown itself when you knock it out. These dudes are an absolute nightmare to tame if you aren’t prepared enough. At the very least, bring 50 narcotics to be on the safe side because that torpor drops FAST. Also, use darts, arrows can be risky since a Spino’s health is usually pretty low to begin with. Kibble, prime meat or mutton is the best and quickest way to tame them and you won’t use as many narcotics to keep them down. They are insanely fast and frustrating and I hate taming them but they are pretty powerful and are handy water mounts to have. Good luck and don’t be like me where one of the buggers ran off into the ocean and was never found again.

Honestly, I want to get a baby spino and modify the settings to make it never mature so I can keep a baby spino as a pet for a really long time

If you live near one..... make a stone 4x4x4 stone box and go in it if they attack. Lost a tame or two to one ima put all my games it stone protection cages

When you see one I recommend to either get somewhere up high or run because they can surely fight!

I tamed two of these in one day (male and female)! They are so awesome and very easy to tame. Haven’t ridden one yet as I haven’t got all the ingredients to make a saddle but nonetheless, still an amazing beast! Very fast on land. When I speed fly on my Argy, it’s easily as fast. Get one! Or two! Or more!!!

So I knocked one ( lvl 3) out with my 20 narc. arrows ( crossbow). And than I just tamed it with fish meat and like 50? narco. And it did go well for me. Now I just need to wait for the saddel ( lvl72) ( I am lvl 52)

Tip: when you are going to knock out a spinosaurus that next to a high ground go to that highround and you can knock out your spino safely

(This tip does not work if the high ground is like a ramp and the spino can get up the high ground and also when it already got knock out make sure you have so many narcotics beacuse this guy torpor drains quickly)

These guys fill the rivers in aberration. Just hang on a zipline or get on a cliff and they are easy tames

I was able to tame these when I was lvl56 because it was on beach and it was lvl3 but be careful for higher level of these if you plan on taming these you should have a lot of narcotics and tranq arrows if your a low level

Bring jelly fish meat it is better then narcotics and bring 200

I used my ship to travel around the island (mobile) my trike had a weird glow and I saw 2 Spinos so I went back and then a rex was there so I got stucked for a while no one got hurt tho also the trike was glowing due to the rex not the spinos so I almost died

Spino is easy to tame just make a trap and shot him with a shocking tranq dart or if you amateur just cheat Forcetame and god

My house is in the south zone 2 and there is a small island with a hill that’s just barely steep enough to climb and I thought it would be a good place for a house and a lucky was i because right after day 12 a Sphino spawns right down river and made it’s way to my base while trying to murder a passuar it locked on to me and ran for me luckily I was on the top of the hill at the time and just looked down at the Sphino as it tried to kill me (I died later from thirst) :(

If you want to tame a spino while you being low leveled, get tranq arrows, a big amount of tranq water thingies and a high wide spot.

Shoot it whith caution of no falling of your spot and PUM! you get a spino whithout flying or stunning dinos.
