To craft one, you must kill a wild one and the one you kill there will be a Blueprint for it in its body. The blueprint level is determined by the wild level you killed.

I think at level 50 the tame scouts should receive some sort of pistol that inflicts damage because scouts aren’t really useful on single player right now.

Not only can you dye them and make them near invisible. When you use voice chat, you speak through your drone. It is so funny hiding a painted one in someone’s base and start talking like your raiding them and they don’t know your in their base yet.

You can have these guys close to Meks and they heal them.

They have shield that block damage by hit counts, so its best to use a fast firing dino(velonsasaur) or auto weapon to destory one, they drop blueprint of themself

You can use these to tag aggressive creatures. Once you have done this all nearby enforcers will come on kill the aggressive creature.

The scout drones are really good honestly you can lure aggressive creatures away ping stuff that you might want to tame and the best and final thing that makes them really good tek repair scouts if nearby some tek creature (mek enforcer another scout exo mek and stryder) It will heal it rapidly and idk if it works on the tek organic creatures or not. :side note the scout is also really good for seeing around in caves or dangerous areas as they don't take a lot of damage due to their sheild also may not aggro turrets so you can see someone's base with one without getting shot

Great for recon. Can be used for repairing a mek and with a enforcer can tag a creature and the enforcer will attack

They are great for finding things like tames or sheep for raw mutton likewise could be useful for pvp you can scout out bases and it has the ability to mark targets making it an ideal item to carry around for your ark adventures

You can also craft a level one in any terminal around the city if you want one quickly

They can be used to heal mech real fast

Unlike all other creatures in Ark excluding the enforcer, (same as scout) the scout is in a way immortal because as long as you know where the blueprint is you can rebuild it.
