I have to stretch my paws just right so that the pad gets the knob, and not my fur. I missed. Ugh, I thought, I wish I had those human hands right about now. I tried again, and found it locked. I had to reach even higher with my claws to get the lock. I looked around, and saw a solution. I pushed one of the chairs towards the door with my head. With a loud, elongated screech, the chair was next to the door. I jumped onto it, reached up, got my claw into the lock, and twisted, and turned it until I heard a click. It was unlocked! That was a first. I went a little lower towards the knob, and , with ease, turned it, and pushed as hard as I could. I was in.Yes! And I knew that if it was locked, they weren’t home. I pushed the chair back, while also guarding the door so that no other cats could close it on me, or get out.
