Taming & KO Tips

How do I tame a rock elemental? Tips and strategies on taming and knocking out a rock elemental.
Build 5 stone dinosaurs gates and place them beside each other they should snap... now remove the middle and drag a Golem and lead it in the middle section.. now the Golem is stuck the paracer should be holding the cannon or any KO weapon face the cannon to the Golem and start shooting its head if the Golem is aggro on the stone gates go up to it until he losses aggro and focuses on you grab a shield so it will take less damage while it throws rocks at you the Golem can't run away because the two gates are holding him... hope this work make sure to carry extra ammo for the weapon if you miss the head
For some reason, after the latest update, X-rock elementals (haven't checked other variants) are no longer tameable. Whenever you knock them out, they don't eat and don't have a taming bar. Forcetame also doesn't affect them, so I believe it's a glitch
For the lava elemental kite it out of the magma springs entrance/exit knock it out and it will eat.
I think there should be a metal golem which is stronger and harder to tame. Maybe it could collect metal only and more effectively than anything else. ps. It’s just some idea I came up with in my spare time
The equation is actually
(5000y+100x)/1800+2y, then bring 2 eaxtra cannonballs
X is the level, and y is a single cannonball
Had to fix that
Put metal dino doors (small) while it's rock and then put cannon and u r done
Knockout works best if you use a cannon
If you are on fjordur, Don't try to tame with ptrerenodon they fixed that bug, now ptrerenodon can't rideable when you go to magmasaur cave, you have to use Desmodus latch on some distance so it will aggro on it and try to setup cannon for knock out.
Try kiting it into some rocks. Best way to do it is to use pillars three high so he can't get passed them maybe six or seven wide. Park your parcer about six foundations away and place two more sets of pillars behind the parcel three high to block all rocks thrown. Fire away
To tame it you need a cannon ball and a trap
Make sure you are not standing too close when you use the Mek. Thought the Rock Golem was doing 4k damage per rock toss but that was just me destroying my own Mek. Rip.
Incase you didn't know, rock elementals take headshots. If you hit anywhere else it doesn't count. Don't waste your cannon balls. If you can't get it straight on, aim lower because aiming higher isnt normally within its hit box.
if taming on offical MUST USE KIBBLE if u dont it will take days on stone and clay
Gigas are Breedable but not rock golems? Why? Who thinks that these should get a movement speed buff when tamed and should be breedable. My Idea is that when you feed a large amount of metal or obsidian or a very large amounnt of stone to a mate boosted rock golem it will generate this golem soul stone and what you do is you bulid a stone structure roughly the size of a golem and drop the soul stone onto it , it will crumble and turn into a pill of rocks that will incubate and crack apart to form a fully grown rock golem.
Can be tamed using the cannon module on the back of a Mek. Just be wary of body shots, will cause a lot of damage to the elemental. Took me 3 shells to knock out a 150
I was having trouble trying to ko it and found out you want to hit it for 450 dmg with the Canon not for 1800 dmg. Please up so no one goes through my pain.
We used 7 rocket launchers and 56 rocket missles
I found three on the mountain at 80 lat 70 lon on lost island. They just look like yellower rocks when in rock form. If you are unsure look at them with spyglass. After I found a high level I ran away and set up a trap. After trapping it and placing a canon I put doorways vertical up like 6 times infront of my canon to prevent the rocks from breaking the canon.
Shouldnt it say you can only shoot it in the head? Because thats how it works... isnt it?
To tame these turret soakers I’d recommend getting four metal gates 5 pillars 3 ceilings and 3 walls. For the trap and the pillars are supposed to prevent the golems rocks from hitting the cannon. AIM FOR THE HEAD
