I kid you not when I'm gonna say, I got ticked off at the AMOUNT of these things can form a pack and gang up on you out of nowhere.

For context, I play on the PS5. I got it when it was in PS+ catalog for May this year, and I thought it would be a good idea to start in the center, on the north island.

The first time these things ganged up on me and tore me to shreds, I bout lost my cool, but as a currently seasoned rookie, back then, I knew NOTHING! Those Raptors puppy guarded my loot, and anytime I got REMOTELY CLOSE to recovering it, I DIED!

The biggest pack to pull up and maul me to death as I ran for my life was at least five to seven of them!! Eventually I got over my fear of them, started a brand new save for The Island, and tamed my first two raptors, getting lucky to have a breeding pair. Rest in peace, Zeus and Hera. My best raptors to ever be the first to tame.
