Me and my cousin had a red and purplish raptor named Crimson. He was very special and we became very fond of him. One day we were on our way back from an expiration and hunting trip. We had Crimson and Flash with us. We were messing around attacking trees when we finally decided that we should get back because it was getting dark. We started swimming across the largest stretch of water when Crimson fell unconscious. We freaked out and ran to the shore to get stimberries. We began to force feed him stack after stack of them. We were pretty sure he was going to be okay and were making another quick trip to shore when we got a notification that he died. R.I.P. Crimson!!!!!
Step 1= Bola raptor or climb on high rock
Step 2= Tranq out (recommend tranq arrows etc)
Step 3= make sure not other baddies in area
Step 4= wait for the hunger to go about half way down
Step 5= after waiting give raw meat, mutton, prime, kibble etc
Step 6= 👍🏻 so others can see 😉
2.Craft wooden bat/club.
3.Collect meat for the raptor.
4.Open quest: Hunt: Raptor, and get out your map and compass and find the raptor on the map, it’s location should be marked with a circle. Make sure you have the bola hotbarred.
5.When you see the raptor, get out your bola and throw it at the raptor immediately.
6.Get behind the raptor, as while trapped in the bola, it can still attack from the front.
7.Hit it on the tail until it falls unconscious, then feed it your recently claimed raw meat, and wait.
8.Should enough time pass, you shall have your raptor! Now train it with caution as while they are great damage dealers, they aren’t the tankiest in terms of health, so leveling that up is top priority. Thx for reading
These creatures have insane speed and are able to out run a new player. The ones I’m near spawn near beach’s because there’s lots of things to kill there. Anyways back to the tip. Raptors CAN live in packs but some are alone, try to find a alone raptor. You don’t need much to tame one, go ahead and get a few narcotics and raw meat. Stand on a rock and wait for it to come to your fire range. Shoot the animal, once it’s down feed it raw meat and wait. Congrats you tamed a raptor! You can up it’s speed so it’s a speed demon, or something else. Raptors have a alt attack that it can jump on small prey and rip it apart. Saddles are worth it, don’t carry to many items though. Happy traveling!
