You do not drop your weapons in front of the swarm to tame the swarm.

You can grab the school of fish with a tuso, and then bring them over to a megachelon to tame it.

Most of the time you find the swarm and the depths of Genesis ocean towards the bottom easier to find in the dark look like little glowing fish about 30 of them

These look like they have been copy and pastes from subnautica

The only thing these things are good for are taming megachelons

Where do I find these on Genesis 1? I’m trying to tame the big turtle thing and I just can’t find them.

These guys do tons of damage to you just like insect swarms I dont know there weakness but if your not taming the giant turtle aka megalcheon get outta the water.

How to encounter:

1) find ammonite

2) hit it

3) survive the onslaught

4) find parakeet school fish

5) lead to big turtle to tame or just outright kill it.

There’s no way to get a dermis of one of these, hitting their corpse with a taxidermy tool does nothing, (I don’t even know if they have a corpse) and you can’t force tame them or summon them as tamed, they will be wild. (Don’t try to summon a high level tamed one, it’ll be wild and very hard to kill.)

You can tame megachelon (big turtle) with them just lure them to it to start the taming process :)

To the person that said you can grab them with a ti so, it’s true, it says nothing can carry them but the tusk definitely can, was the only way I could find to get them to the mega

I find it unusual how these small fish are eaten by celocanth and sabertooth salmon, yet they can shred up a player in seconds. By the way thoes other fish will eat these guys when your trying to lead them to the megachelon, so while people do joke about the celocanth being a dangerous force, in this scenario they really are a threat.

These do not spawn on console Lost Island as far as I know I’ve never seen them since the Dlc dropped
