The reason why it fights you is simple, so originally it was to monitor survivor progress and congratulate you if the guardians were defeated but over time it started to adjust to everything and it forgot its purpose and it sees you as a threat . If you were to make it to the overseer before this it wouldn’t fight, you’d be able to move on.
