Here’s what I don’t get, if the Overseer is what created and cares for the ark, then why would you want to kill it, because it’s whats allowed you to survive for so long.
It's an easy tame just bring a slingshot and narcoberries

Passive tamed with berries and use a club to nok out be warned it runs away very fast recommended to stop listening to my nonsense and start praying

Go up to it and handfeed it mejoberries. Should be done taming in no-time!
