If you want to get venom without using a tame, use the free tek suit you get from genesis 2 and jump into the purple river to charge it (I believe you need the tek suit unlocked for it to work). Then get nameless to spawn and lure them into the liquid, hover above them and repeatedly force punch them without risk of taking damage
More Nameless Encountering Tips
I figured out the best way to get rid of them is to use a rockdrake an it will kill them really fast
Do you know how powerful these things are? They can summon reapers and other nameless!
Highest level is the alpha once ten show up eventually the alpha will howl summoning the reaper king
You can find them in the lower caverns. They have an almost endless spawn and grow mutate to an alpha when the previous alpha dies. Have a charge pet like bulbdog if you want to avoid.
The pack leader or alpha namless and normal namless both drop venom but aplhas drop the venom more commonly. People that say only alpha drop them that is not true.

The Nameless
When about three spawn, one will turn into a alpha, ( large and orange) which are the ones that drop the venom. WARNING: When they drop the venom, a bag will drop with the venom inside, it wonβt go into your or your tames inventory!!! If ten spawn, a reaper will appear. Keep a light pet with you so they donβt overwhelm you. Light pets will burn them, doing major damage. Thatβs really all you need to know to fight them!
