Things you need to tame a high level mosa

1:50 tranq arrows to be safe

Take an ichy. Get your best xbow (I prefer xbow because it’s easier to shoot and hit target on the back of the ichy) circle the mosa firing away. The ichy is quick enough to dodge the bite. If you dodge a wrench you can dodge a mosa.

just tried taming one with tuso cause I've seen just about everyone say that you can grab it with squid and dismount to shoot it and it didn't work, I tried same thing on multiple other creatures and my mosa I tamed b4 squid and squibwerb kept letting go of them everytime I dismount. it's better to bring it up to a shallow area where it can't go back down to deep water like the coast of main island on lost island at the south or desert coast, they will swim forward a trying to go down until they hit a wall can't move anymore and you can safely dismount and ko them without chasing them throughout the entire ocean(what I did for first mosa) or them attacking you. do bring more arrows/darts than app says my lvl 135 did not go down with 14 arrows

Ok, for those of us people who cant seem to get any pearls for a tuso to simply grab on a mosa and wait it out then i have a solution. Down in the depths there is a cave on the ragnorok map. Some call it pearl cave or mushroom cave. Either name works. What i did was i mad a crap load of tranq arrows, took a journeyman crossbow and a 227 meg (not neccessary. You can have any level an icthy works too) and lured a mosa into this cave. When you enter there is a fork in the path. Take a right and you will notice that the land comes up where your meg can get through but the mosa can't. Camp there with your crossboe and tranq it. Stand on land so you dont waste the scuba tank. Once it runs it should run into the wall that is opposite from the middle island. After its out grabs some narcotic and meat. I reccommend setting up a little FOB or mini base at the cave beforehand so you are prepared. Wait it out and enjoy your new underwater giga!

Easiest way to tame mosa

No trap needed

Just need to be fast

Mosa don't come after you after a particular deapth

Even if you attack on it it won't come after you you can easily tranqulise mosa with this trick

Tip : Use a sarco to tame it, it's alot easier since sarco has high dmg than ichtyo and can clear the area and you can use weapons while on sarco.

Get diplocaulus, level its weight a hell lot, when see mosa, dismount and shoot tranq arrows, maybe darts if possible, go up bcuz it does not go up in a certain height, there you go. (diplocaulus gives you inf oxygen when on mount)

It lives in the water, so why does it not like fish meat as much as raw meat???(confusion)

Tamed my first one with raw prime meat from killing plesiosaur took about 17 and using their prime meat to tame a level 15 with a 98% taming effectnesss about 30 minutes using a harpoon and tranq spears to knock it out i made 29 took about 23 although I think i misses 5 or 6 shots so take that with a grain of salt but use a deinosuchus they take 50% less damage to the head so face it head on make sure it has a high health pool 12k or more which is extremely easy to get to one of mine is level 180 close to 13k health and 400% damage thay tank the ocean creatures as long as you don't get surrounded by 30 megs like I did sadly the Mosasaurus did not survive before I could crypo it i had 30 megs and two alpha 110 megs run up on me so sucks for me hope you guys have better luck then me

To tame a mosasaurus find a cave make a behemoth door put it out the cave and hit the mosasaurus with dart or any taming ammo

U should really tame this beast, it deals lot of damage after u tame it. For the location, go find it in the northern part of the map in mobile and tame this with a itchy

Do you want an underwater giga?(say yes or else)well, ive got you covered! So lets get right to taming. Diff 6.5/10(scuba basically required)

Youre gonna need:

-any fast water mount like an ichy or a sarco

-a LOTTTTTT of tranqs

-highly recommend a good crossbow

-at least 3 behemoth gateway and 2 gates or if youre using underwater caves 1 gateway and 1 gate

-narcotics to keep the mosa asleep, i use biotoxin

1. Set up trap. Place 3 gates like this: | | |. Use even ground if possible and just keep one gate in your hotbar. If in a underwater cave place gate at entrance.

2. Trapping. Aggrothe mosa and lead it in, stay in the trap until its in or it will go sideways. Just put the gate at the back gateway once its in.

3. Knockout. Knock the mosa out cold. Kill or lead away all creatures that might interfere with your tame. Use harpoon launchers crossbows and bows(not recommended but works)to knock it out.

4. Feeding. Give it your narcotic of choice to keep it asleep while it eats. Exceptional kibble or above can be used or quetz kibble if youre on mobile. If you dont have that, just use prime meat or mutton.

5. And there you have it! A sea beast. They do insane damage and are extremely fast. They have a tek AND platform saddle that you can build on. As long as your mosa was strong enough you are invincible in the ocean. Anyway thats all folks, ill make a argy tip next.

The X Mosa I just held with a squid for 48 mins was a 150 male. Was also on 3x if that makes any difference

Easy to tame. Have good armor to tank a couple hits if need be. The mosa has a BIG turn radius so just kill everything around one then set dino away and on passive. Then shoot the mosa and swim on its right or left side and stay close but not on it and it will just keep swimming around you in a circle. Even better if you have a tribemate on the other side to keep it confused. (Also oxygen helps with movement so worth getting up if taming a few)

If you have a squid, a high melee basilisk, and 2 tribemates you have a funny way to knock it without a trap

We tamed a Tusoteuthis and it is able to grab a mosa and keep it still. The Tusoteuthis also does torpor damage so it is very easy to KO. It can't attack while being held either
