Just tame one and then bring it over to a jungle (Shoals recommended). Then start harvesting. In about 5 hits your should have 2 stacks of a berry.

You are able to drink water from the morelas back.

Eat lots of cactus... generates water an you won't have to risk going to a water vain or river to regain water.

To tame it just boomerang it by throwing. Tamed a lvl 2 and 7 this way at low lvl. Just find a lone one and then aim for the head first. As it’s running boom it some more. If u see another morell but it’s kinda far I found that the paras danger Since wave is a good Indication if it’s far enough or not.

Only creature that I know of that can drink. I thought u just could use cactus sap for water but one day I dismounted mine in shallow water and she drank like a thirsty camel. I have two and I take them everywhere now.

As opposed to what their appearance may lead you to believe… These guys are actually incredibly fast, able to even keep ahead of a Raptor when sprinting, and since they are so big they are also immune to bolas and as such you will have to try trapping them using terrain or built structures. Alternatively you can use a Lymantria’s spore cloud to slow them down temporarily.

if u need to tame this beasts try and find one alone, if found with 5 or more it best u go to high ground when trying to tame because if u try to take this beast while more of It kind are around it will not run but attack u head on with it group it best bring along more friends when taming one in a large group

When running into these guys, be mindful of groups. If attempting to take one down, check to see how many are around. They fight together in groups& are surprisingly quick for their size. If it's by itself it will run, so be ready to chase. They're relatively easy to take down. Ranged weapons are preferred, but pikes work well also if you can get one stuck on a rock or tree.

This is probably the best starter tame for Scorched Earth (or any other map with a desert) because it is great at gathering berries. Also, it can store water which is useful because the deserts don’t have lots of water, so I would recommend using a morellatops when you start the game. -Amory

The Morellatops is practically the Trike of Scorched Earth! That means:

• Good for berries

• Good for beginners to tame

• Can hold water so you won't dehydrate

In my opinion best way to farm cactus-sap if u are in these little cactus fields and u make the main attack u get over 1000 in sec

Don't try to trap it with gates. I trapped one with 3 adobe dinosaur gates in a triangle shape and he rose upwards, phased through the ceilings I put down, and escaped.

Similar in stats and size to a trike, when travelling on one it's a good idea to have a pack like raptors or wolves following it to defend from attacks from behind

This dino is one of my favorites. Being an early tame it has great carry weight, mobility, & health. The ability to store 750 water is an absolute life saver. You can refill your water skins/water jars/canteens by putting the container in its inventory& remote using it. You can fill their storage by simply walking them to a water source & letting them drink. I recommend taming 2-3 if you plan on doing any traveling. Safety in numbers. Level in Melee, Health,& Stamina (Weight as needed)

These guys are awesome cause they are like a camel and can store water and they make decent pack horses also their knock back is awesome if you time it right some attackers can't hurt you at all! Hope you liked this tip
