On Mobile the only way to encouter the Megatherium is to retrieve their implant by going into a dungeon so be prepared.

Don't try to kill these for XP. I lost a level 130 Tek Rex trying to kill a level 82 when suddenly another one ran in from behind and they shredded my freshly tamed creature in about 5 seconds, I didn't even have time to turn around.

Only in dungeons for mobile players, along with Jerboa, Onyc, Troodon and Daeodon. Hopefully mobile players can see and know!

DO NOT BRING BUGS ANYWHERE NEAR THIS GUY! I was coming back home from the redwoods with some new times riding on my scorpion and I tried to just pass by him but he immediately aggroed my scorpion and all of my other tames. 15 tames died in a matter of seconds. Only the level 80+'s survived.

A lvl 15 killed 7 high-level dimorphs. They were taking him out at first then It started secreting a red mist and wiped them all out myself included

These WILL aggro on your tamed insects on ark mobile revamp. I don’t know the situation with wild bugs, but if I take a scorp or a rhynio tame near one of these, it becomes very very aggressive. In fact, it was so strong it knocked my rhynio down to 1/3 health before the rhynio killed it.😬

One day I went out on extinction, leaving my enforcers behind, not realizing that when you create a enforcer, it is set on passive to start. Then while I was out, I see “your EEGR (LV 35 enforcer) was killed by a magetheriem LV 30!” I ran as fast as I could but I was to late. I avenged my enforcers by killing the megatheriem, but it was not the same after that.

One up: one player who does not make my same mistake again.

After you take one and go chitin hunting with it, be careful not to get to close to another and think it's okay because the other is half the level of yours. It's a quick way to lose a lot of work.

Will be aggressive in the wild with bug buff. Tame one immediately. If you disagree with that statement watch someone use it in swamp cave.

Be careful around these monsters, one of them destroyed my MC armor in 2 hits and killed me instantly, build a pen or bring an animal to tank it while you tranquilize the f*er, good luck survivor!

Be careful if you see one that's on fire killing bugs if you go near it when enraged like this they will kill anything

to tame these in ark mobile, go into the dungeon and retrieve its implant then leave (by dying) the dungeon. It will take around 30 amber to revive and eats meat to tame

despite what the ark wiki says i could barely find any of these guys on the crystal isles and had much better luck finding them on valguero in the tundra region near 40.20

These things attack you just for having chitin in your inventory.

I play on my fiancé’s account a fair amount (mainly to do some of the tedious things like getting metal, turning it into ingot, making narcotics, stuff like that.) I was flying around in the forest on one of the bigger islands south of red ob, just vibing, considering taming something if I found something I liked. I was kinda eyeballing a carno, when from behind me, one of these comes zooming, in a fight with a pack of dilos. I watched as this beast killed a good chunk of that herd AND the carno before sadly falling to one of the last dilos. I was didn’t get the level on it but I was highly impressed. I’m more tempted than ever to tame one.

If they attack a bug in the wild their buff makes them aggressive. Was on extinction and one of these killed a spider. 36 chitin wasn’t worth it.
