To tame find megaraptor alter with a torch in hand higher dmg torch better torp than walk back wards and when he pops up hit and turn depending on which way u are walking backwards u will meed to slightly turn left or right or sometimes u dont have to turn at all all this must be done while still walking backwards

These are great tames and they are decently early game. If you want to tame one easily get the upgrade station mod and make a torch, then upgrade it until you get at least five hundred damage on it that will deal about 230 torpor per hit. After that now find the desired megaraptor. Now go to the megaraptor alter and challenge the megaraptor. The alter is a spike in the ground with a few bones around the bottom. When you are in the minigame a thick fog will arise and you will not see the megaraptor. Look side to side constantly. The megaraptor will attack you once and then retreat then it will attack again. Be prepared and bring 3 sets of flak. They are an exceptional kibble tame. The megaraptor has a double jump, it has mid speed, and it is slightly bigger than a carno. Before you start taming tag it to track its location it makes it easier to see when it gets close

When you try to tame one you have to find it's little wood pillar then engage with it and you have to use a torch to hit it when it comes at you then a torpidity bar will fill up and it's preferred food is exceptional kible

A master craft is good enough for a 130 might have to repair once and taming is easy listen for the noise it makes before it appears and swing or move to side to side swing is effective

Tamed a lvl 100 on normal single player settings took like 10 hits with a 750% damage torch and ate 8 mutton

Once you have challenged the megaraptor just run around in circles in one direction and as soon as you hear the megaraptor swing your torch it should take about 20 minutes for a high levek

When start taming use defog command and it removes the taming fog makes it much easier

FROM THE WIKI - First, you must locate a small spire called a Megaraptor Altar. This is commonly placed where the Megaraptor spawns. The Megaraptor must also be in the general area to initiate the taming procedure. To start, equip the torch and interact with the altar. This will lock you to a small area around the altar and heavily obscure your vision. The Megaraptor will enter camouflage and approach you, then after a brief moment, it will attack you before entering camouflage again. You must swing the torch at the Megaraptor before it attacks you; successfully doing so will interrupt its attack and apply torpor to it, indicated by a bar near the bottom akin to when taming a Fasolasuchus. Simply repeat this process until the Megaraptor goes unconscious. 150 required 7 kibble on 2x and 14 kibble on 1x. Also good way to ko them is to look at your characters head so u see their body appear before they fully appear.

It is invisible, not intangible. When you run in circles you can bump into it and that lets you know where it is, as well as listening to the direction of it's sound. It always tries to strike from behind so try to turn at the time it makes noise and strike it

The app is way off regarding the taming progress. I used a sanguine elixir and still had to wait for a starve tame. The amount of kibble is also off.

Easy keep your back turned it’ll pop up behind you in roughly 5 to 6 seconds swing sometimes you can hit it while your back’s turned
