What are tips for megaraptor? Tips and strategies for megaraptor in ARK: Survival Ascended & Evolved.
You should probably run super fast and get 12 trex's
To tame you must find a megaraptor alter. You must challenge it while holding a torch. It will try and attack you by disappearing and reappearing behind you. You need to turn and hit it with the torch before it hits you. Eventually it will be knocked out and you can feed it extraordinary kibble. Better damage torches and at least chitin is recommended.
On official 1x I was able to tame a 135 after 58 minutes of beeing knocked with mutton. The Megaraptor loses 110 torp per minute, Gained around 4% taming per mutton. Hope this helps.
Taming method isn’t same as concept.
Required items:
Torches
Torch repair mats
Exceptional kibble, mutton, or prime meat
Good armor
Medbrews
Step one: when you find a megaraptor you want to tame look for an altar in the area. The altar looks like a thin rock pile. Make sure to clear out the area before the next step
Step two: hit the altar with a torch, this will start a jumpscare minigame where the megaraptor will sneak up on you to attack you. You need to hit the megaraptor with a torch before it hits you. Each torch hit increases torpidity. Once you have hit it enough it will knock out and you can feed it
These guys spawn pretty much everywhere, they aren’t exactly common but they aren’t rare either.
According to the dossier, it says that you have to claim its kill pile, and then stop it from getting its pile “with fire.” Sounds really cool.
According to the submission, it likes shadow steak suate, and battle tartare l. Can’t wait for this thing!
You'll find a small 8ft tall spike of wood with bones in a pile around it. Approach with a torch (hand held fire stick) in your hands, the more dmg the better, and hit the interact button to trigger a minigame. This involves being surrounded by fog and listening to where the footsteps stop sounding then slightly preswinging to hit it and inflict torpor. Headphones heavily advised.
Find it alter bring a torch up to it start mini game will start of peeka boo hit him with the torch before he hit u tell he knocks out then give it mutton meat when he knocked
Easy way to tame it is by going first person and sprinting around in circles at the challenge area with a touch of course.
U have to find it’s shrine make sure no other creatures are around activate its shrine then you’ll enter a mini game where you need to hit it with a torch before it hits you repeat this to knock it out
The knockout and tame is the easy part despite contrary belief. The real challenge is finding one. If you don't find one naturally, finding a high level Megaraptor is an absolute nightmare. I spent an hour on a deinonychus and did 12 full biome scans and only ever saw 2 of them. They were both terrible levels.
Not only remove aggro dinos but any parent dinos or herbivores like jerboas messed tame up cuz baby got bit and felt empowered to fight a titan
To tame find megaraptor alter with a torch in hand higher dmg torch better torp than walk back wards and when he pops up hit and turn depending on which way u are walking backwards u will meed to slightly turn left or right or sometimes u dont have to turn at all all this must be done while still walking backwards
These are great tames and they are decently early game. If you want to tame one easily get the upgrade station mod and make a torch, then upgrade it until you get at least five hundred damage on it that will deal about 230 torpor per hit. After that now find the desired megaraptor. Now go to the megaraptor alter and challenge the megaraptor. The alter is a spike in the ground with a few bones around the bottom. When you are in the minigame a thick fog will arise and you will not see the megaraptor. Look side to side constantly. The megaraptor will attack you once and then retreat then it will attack again. Be prepared and bring 3 sets of flak. They are an exceptional kibble tame. The megaraptor has a double jump, it has mid speed, and it is slightly bigger than a carno. Hope you successfully tame your megaraptor
Before you start taming tag it to track its location it makes it easier to see when it gets close
When you try to tame one you have to find it's little wood pillar then engage with it and you have to use a torch to hit it when it comes at you then a torpidity bar will fill up and it's preferred food is exceptional kible
A master craft is good enough for a 130 might have to repair once and taming is easy listen for the noise it makes before it appears and swing or move to side to side swing is effective
