Easy to tame on foot assuming you're in a relatively safe area. Shoot them in face with tranq arrows and when they start to try and hit you can just jump backwards and be missed completely.

Even that they don't take THAT much to knock out, they take to tame longer than brontos...

Not hard tame if you don't mind a few spikes in your face..

The best way to knock this creature out!

First, get a bow or a crossbow, then make 11 stone/wood pillars.

Put ten pillars down to make a rectangle with no pillars inside.

Hit it, and it will run after you. Once it's following you, go in the "rectangle" and through the pillars. Once it is in there you want to make sure it doesn't come out. For that put the last pillar down to close up the trap and keep tranquilizing it with your bow/crossbow. This will put it to sleep nice and easy.

Sweet veggie cakes do NOT work. I just tried to tame a 150 female using 37 kibble and 4 cakes during a 1.5xp weekend and I lost every kibble because it refused to eat the cakes. Thanks for that.

Will not eat Sweet Veggie Cakes, tried wouldn't eat switched to crops started eating right away..
