Except if you are doing a pacifist run. Then they are the only tamable creature that have a way to deal damange 100% passively and you should breed them and make an army of them ASAP. Sure its bad damange, but it's something.

The paleo mod of ASA makes a variant of these called greater kentros, supposed to be a lot better than this slop of a creature.
