The Ichthyosaurus is passively tamed by feeding it raw meat or preferred kibble from your hotbar, preferably after luring it into an enclosed water pen and clearing nearby predators. It is an exceptionally fast aquatic mount suited for scouting, travel, escaping danger, supporting tames, and gathering underwater resources, but its fragile build and weak combat ability make direct fights risky. When encountered, it usually flees rather than attacks, so watch for sharks and jellyfish nearby and avoid harming it unless necessary.
