NEVER set your Ichy to Wandering, it'll bolt right away and you'll never see it again

I was able to call mine back on Mobile but not the improved Saddle it was in its inventory after unequiping it and forgetting to take it out

These friendly aquatic dinosaurs are very helpful in ocean travel or gathering oil. They can outrun megalodon's and other things, they usually just swim up to you trying to play with you. They don't attack either provoked or unprovoked (I think). They have an ability which they don't aggro anything (I think it's only on mobile), I literally swim with megalodons and they don't give a crap about me or my dolphin, I even touched a jellyfish (cnidaria's) and they didn't sting me. I'm serious!

In my hardcore hard mode,when I ride it,the underwater creature don’t give a crap about me,(and the I killed all of them,like manta lol,also it good for level up)

The parasaur of the ocean also really cute and fast

They are literally so fast it makes getting oil soooooo easy

So how to not die to some rocks that suddenly spawn under the ocean while traveling with this dolphin..

I dont know much about aggroing but 4 megas tried to rip my ichthy of right near the shore right after I tamed her on mobile (thank devs for the speed)

IN MOBILE EVERYBODY SAYS NOTHING ATTACKS IT PLESIOSAURS DO

On mobile nothing aggro’s it when riding it in my experience apart from electric eel thing and angler

Whatever you do, make sure they never get hit by the jellyfish, if they do they'll flee as soon as they can depending on their set behaviour (specifically if on neutral/attack your target they'll flee when the cnidarias are cleared out) I haven't tasted if they do so in passive anyway but im not willing to risk losing of of these good bois

If you're ever in the mood to murder Pelagornis in mobile, do it with an ichthy. The Pela won't react even after being hit

These guys are faster than megs but slower than mantas just saying

Y’all… ichthys most certainly do get attacked in the water. Tell “nothing attacks u on them” to my ichthy who was violently slaughtered by an alpha mosa. Unless you play mobile (which is only about 5% of ARK players if I had to guess) they definitely get attacked even if you are in the saddle.

DONT WASTE SKILL POINTS ON STAMINA! IT ONLY DRAINS STAMINA WHEN ATTACKING! THIS FISH CAN OUTSWIM MEGALADONS (and maybe mantas?)!

Well, I read the comments about them being aggrod by everything in the sea and thought "but I'm in shallow water? And there are 0 sharks? Only these 3 friendly dolphin who swam up almost ASKING for me to take them under my wing?

Well, after no time these guys were following along behind me in my boat!...... and then they were eaten at our first stop along the coast....

Tamed my first one today a 135 kibble tame. I've never tamed water mount before and I am on Center. R i p scratchy. My Level 55 came scratchy 2 will never replace you. I need a scratchy because it's an itchy saurus AKA Itchy and Scratchy. Yes whether or not you're on it or not it gets aggroed
