So i one day i found a level 150 Ichty and i was excited i was looking forward to taming one so i used my soothing balm and started to feed it and i wanted to get the Ichty near the beach which was a pretty bad idea, the Ichty decided to go on land and it died. I couldnt revive him i was only level 47,i didnt have enough amber and the obelisks wouldnt help, the thing i most regret is that i wasted a soothing balm, and now i need to abuse aka farm the south cave

This thing will run away if u get attacked it happens to me like 3 times and I had 2 by the shore and they ran away for no reason

Bro everyone says these guys are easy to tame yes they are but it’s so so hard to get to them without being attacked

Easy enough to tame that you don't need to trap it.

They're attracted to players and especially tames, so using anything from a turtle to a mosa makes taming them easy. They may swim off, but are easy to magnet back onto your tame.

i LOVE them. in numbers they are unstoppable! naturally when your riding them (at least for me) no animal EVER targets them. they are good for killing megadons. and angelers. VERY USEFUL TAME!

Technically you can get a bunch of these to come to the surface easily with a pelagornis, and fly away if a megalodon attacks, if you get enough it might even become harder for megalodons to hit you lol

I’ve blitzed past so many megs on this thing. It is literally the best!

dont believe the lies that itchies are passive to every mob.

if ur itchy dies (for some reason) and you revive it, its no longer passive to every mob. (same with chronicling) also babies are born not passive.

all i have to say is that the dolphin is BROKEN

I tames Three of these and I like them put a Saddle and like it

If you go to the snow biome on the island watch out for the ice caps they will get stuck and you’ll have to put them on follow

Can easily kill sharks and other stuff sharks is any kill with this bc of speed

These fishes follows a big fishes like a megalondon,Moses, and a baloisaurus, they will not hurt you they only follow you. Ichthyo: I want to be friends!

Extremely fast however if you get attacked at the bottom of the ocean then your screwed they will just leave you

Can be tamed by having fish in the last category

Then feed it sone

I had a mega and these guys kept swarming around me, not attacking. I guess a mega attracts these guys as friends. Either way if you want to take a lot of these guys just swim with a mega for a bit and like 5 will be following you. They continue to follow after feeding too so they just sit there as you tame them instead of running off

What ever you do when taming don’t try to knock these guys out after I first started ark I thought they were knock out tames so every time I tried I would kill them so remember there passive tames

I know this sounds really dumb. The de aggro ability will only work if you tame it with fish meat or prime fish meat. If you use normal meat or prime meat, you will get a better taming effectiveness but every aggressive water creature will still aggro on you. No one has said this before. I just tested it right now. I tamed a high level one tamed with raw meat. Everything aggroed on me. It surprised me because i tamed one not too long ago and nothing aggroed me back then. That got me thinking and I got this idea. I tamed a low level one with fish meat and nothing aggroed it. Consider testing it yourself before disliking this tip
