Watch out for the lag spikes when getting wyvern eggs. Lost my favorite griffin named hank cause i dove and thought i pulled up but it put me in the water and wyverns killed both my griff and i.

Build a 4x4 trap with stone gates adjacent to each other, and stone door frames on the other. Lure them in, shut the door. I've tamed 6 in 2 days. Also dive bomb attack does 4X damage multiplier, dive down and pull up right before you hit the ground, basic attack does 10-15X damage multiplier. Insane damage.

1. Make trap, place trap usually a 4 stone gates with equal distancing and 2 gates obviously.

2. Kill everything around trap, the griffon will go after anything and it will be a hastle trying to get it follow you.

3. When you get griffon to follow you make sure to get close by trap when he starts so he gets in when he first hits you. If your far away and then he catches up to you he will fly around you and not go into the trap.

4. Once griffon is traped make sure to get some sort of protection around trap just in case a carno spawns in or anything you know how ark is.

5. Tame it and have fun

They are the fastest creatures on the ark.Its a good acquisition

WAIT 5 SECONDS BETWEEN EACH SHOT WITH A CROSSBOW!!!! You will kill the Griffin if you rapid fire even though it says there is no chance of death with a crossbow.

Don’t use this Dino for non gate taming cause their range is INSANE and what’s pickup able is weird and unfinished. They can’t pick up things like dire wolfs but they can pick up megalanias

I disagree with high torpor drop. It’s more like medium. Let torpor go all the way down, then narc, it rises as slow as it drops.

Plz fix ur taming timers tAmed a 140 but ur thing was off by 10-20 minutes with half kibble half mutton

Took me 5 ish minutes to kill a level 20 golem with my 500% melee griffin

The cooked mutton timer is way way out.. it's almost double what it says.. for the time, mutton needed and narcotic.. hope this helps we missed out on a 145 due to misleading information

Build your trap. Then build a small hut with a generator and a fridge. If you solo go to highlands with a flyer and find mutton. It's good in the birds inventory for 40 mins. Be sure to also have raw meat so your bird doesn't eat the mutton. Mutton is good for 40 minutes on your inventory and 8 hours in the fridge.

Allosaurus Kibble is its favorite kibble. Can't wait for Ragnarock to come out so I can tame one and soar through the skies

I met one of these gentle creatures in the snow biome when I was a level 38 it chased me and my pteranodon all the way to the volcano where I accidentally jumped in and died and as for my pteranodon it's still there at the volcano waiting for me to this very day

Build a small taking pen with normal dino gates. They kick up a lot of dust when rthe fly 2so so it might to be a good idea to build a small platform to get better aim.
