Fun fact: You can tame Griffin after taming Pteradon and Griffin does not require a saddle to ride. You can lure it and trap it in stone gateway method and Use prime meat and narcotics in its inventory to maintain its torpor. And don't blindly go for kibble cuz it is too expensive.

Another fun fact: You can tame a Griffin at lvl1 but you should have some ultimate skills

Never brings your dinos if you're just trapping it withouta flyer,that dumbass bird targets your dino instead of you💔(only if you're not using gateway trap)

I managed to knockout a 145 griffin with arrows however it was 14 health. While possible to do with darts tranq bullets definitely better

I learned the hard way

Bit of a heads up griffins are just kinda ok.

They aren’t really bad or good just kinda in the middle.

There base speed is slower than a pt but faster than an argy, however when they divebomb they can go MUCH faster than basically all flyers (excluding maewings if they count as flyers).

If you're wondering why they do such little damage compared to other flyers, they don't, Whilst diving, you can amp your damage from a measly 150-1,000, not when crashing down, like attack whilst diving, or when the wings show some trails, it'll amp up its damage by a ton.

Get more than one in a Cage. It makes it easier

Just so you know if it attacks a argie it will go up to the sky forever or the argie dies

Heres something new to try, net the griffin you wanna tame then build a trap around it so you don't have to net ut multiple times

Griffins have to respect you for you to tame it,3 ways: 1. be over lvl 40 and have the same "surname",2. be over lvl 80-85 (if I remember correctly) for lower lvl griffins,if u r trying to tame a high lvl,then you've gotta be over lvl 95-100 (Once again if I can remember that correctly,sorry I have bad memory,but if u read this and the numbers don't seem right,then search up "how to get griffins respect in ark" and it will show),anyway,bye,hope this helps- user1223612 (made up cuz I don't have username)

Do not attack at when your at level 50

Just had the greatest experience trapping one of these trapped a 145 with the standard 4 gates. Tamed the griffin and while I was flying away saw a 150 argy and tamed it in the same trap.😁

They are very fast so don't get close if you don't have a dino because you mostly can't escape them

Never tame in the dark. It will come out of nowhere and kill you. Hope this helps;)

Pre-build the gateways and doors before you travel. You will save so much more space and you can actually carry everything for under 100 pounds depending on the trap size.

Don't go for taming this if it shows "does not respects you" you can tame it only if you earn its respect for that you have ro reach lvl 85 or there are several other ways roo
