These things are BEASTS are harvesting black pearls. They get an insane 75% reduction in weight for them!

People really underestimate these guys. They may be the best black pearl harvesters in the game. They collect tons of them from the giant shells and get a crazy weight reduction on them. Not that they even really need it, since their weight stat is astronomical. When you're riding these guys you can close their shell to make your player invincible. They also provide infinite oxygen under the water and insulate you against heat and cold. From what I can tell they don't dismount you when shocked. When free swimming their tail attack has solid DPS and they take reduced damage to most of their body. On land their tail attack does impressive knockback. They also have a really solid health pool that pairs well with their natural armor. With one of these guys you can basically live inside the ocean for as long as you want. The only real downside is their speed, but if you breed a couple of high level individuals and max out your imprint you may be able to get a 200% speed baby like I did. Helps a lot.

I suggest using Superior kibble. You can use anything like kibble which is what I just suggested because I used it to tame mine mine and it's sometimes one dones it and it's really perfect for it

Oh my gosh this is a knock out tame?!??! That’s unheard of nowadays in ark!!!

Knockout tame takes superior kibble. 3% for kibble, and 1.5% for mutton on 1x

Desmo with good longneck is all you need really be prepared with either kibble or a lot of mutton they’re hunger drains quick and they also as babies eat raw meat so when breeding be sure to feed them raw

They’re slow on land. You can basically walk/run backwards and hit them with tranq arrows.

You can ride these without saddles. They are also good swimmers.

Their omnivores, meaning they eat both meat and veggies/berries. Meat is still preferred more. Their basic knockout tames, aim for the belly or head, as hitting their shell does less torpor. Thats right, a basic knockout.

It's a knock out tame!! I repeat a knock out tame!! We trapped it, knocked it out and kibbled it!

Might be a replacement for paracer boxing. And is a mix between stego and racer. Will have to wait and see how it fits in the meta

The Grand Tortugar can swim quite quickly and also you can build a base on it’s back like the bronto or quetzal it can walk on the ocean floor too

The Ark creature known as Grand Tortuga is known to have 90 percent weight reduction on black pearls

Easy knock out tame. Fly above it with a tek suit to knock it out. Use purple or higher kibble but algae works the same. Has reduction to black pearls and can farm them.

Just a normal KO tame. But shoot them in the head. The shell takes less damage.
