Here is the REAL best way to tame the Gloon: locate one that has a baby and kill the parent, because u can actually claim a baby gloon(so long as u can reach it) have a blessed day anyone who reads this

This creature’s abilities are crazyyy. It can turn you invisible, shoot lasers that deal solid damage, and use an ability called Necrotic Mark, which transforms the creature you shoot into a strange entity that nearby dinos will aggro. It can also mesmerize other creatures, causing them to de-aggro from you. It has a similar ability to the Drakeling called Slowfall, making you immune to fall damage. Additionally, it can emit light, similar to light pets. CRAZYYY!!

Right now with the Gloon, there seems to be a bug where your own gloon uses it's abilities on you while it's mounted on your shoulder. It doesn't seem to happen all the time but it's annoying when you get knocked out by your own gloon haha

F.Y.I these things suck to hatch good luck to anyone that wants to hatch these things and claim them.

Ultimate taming guide:

1) The Gloon hovers around areas always accompanied by revenants (zombies) and infected creatures so you have to take them out first without being spotted by the Gloon

2) Once all of them are gone make sure to shoot the Gloon in the eyes, this will cause the Gloon to slowly drop down each shot it takes in the eye (it won’t take damage and don’t damage the body or it’ll aggro)

3) once it hits the ground or goes camo then passive tame it with kibble or any type of meat besides fish, then rinse and repeat till it’s tamed

Eyes can shoot lasers that damage and increase over time when used, set its lasers to mesmerize to make a Dino passive/confused can also do this on shoulder if set to auto, has a necrotic ball spit that is basically a pheromone dart, can camo the player when on shoulder

Shoot the revnants then shoot the eyes with a fab sniper rifle untill on the ground then feed basic kibble

I’ll just warn you now, don’t go near this thing with your tames or this thing will corrupt them for a short period, that’s how I lost my Carno

To tame it, you will most likely need a crossbow and maybe shotgun. Keep in ming you will need to stay crouched the whole moment. First, kill the horde of zombie NPCs beneath it. Then, shoot ONLY ITS EYES. After that, it will slowly descend. Once it gets close enough to the ground, it will turn invisible— at this point, feed it Simple Kibble.

If you upgrade its charge capacity you up grade for how long you can use its eye beams and light

bring 4 walls and the supports,1 foundations door ladder and ceiling knock it out trap it, have some1 on roof to hit its eyes when they clip through n to kill the spawns n some1 inside to do the feeding np

Someone gave the tip to kill the parents and take the baby. I have tried that and found out the best way to claim the baby if it is out of reach is to use bolas to get it down.

Honestly, if you’re higher up in progress it’s dead easy to just use a reaper and a longneck. Shoot the mom with the longneck & she’ll die in one shot most likely, stun the baby with the reapers acid attack, & let the zombies rush you. Claim the baby on the ground and ur good

Claim the baby use a reaper to kill the zombies and the mom positioning yourself to do harm to baby then use reaper acid attack on baby when zombies are clear it will fall to ground then claim
