They can gather rare flowers and plant species(on cattails idk if they can gather them on other plant) on mobile. I think dododex should update it lol i gathered 3 stacks of 100 fast with my lvl 620+ gigantopithecus

Easy tame, for PVE slot Exceptional Kibble in farther right slot and make sure the area is clear first, go up on foot and tap why, if during an event it will pop in one kibble. Make sure to bring a Tough tame to wait for the timer and give the Giganto some space.

Grab it in the claw of your crab hop off crab shove kibble/ berries up it's butt easiest tame ever

Mobile Tip:

If you're below lvl 62,you can agro it first to make it follow you (Go outside the redwood), Get 10x soothing balm from cave, all you need is sneak, go behind the giganotopithecus, feed the soothing balm, Then keep feeding mejoberry until it's tamed!, You could also use Scorpio, Araneo, etc (Must be tamed from cave), so the Gigantopithecus will not agro you!

Tame a gigantopithecus and put it in a 10×10 fence foundation area and make wall around it and enable wandring then he collet about 10k fiber for you

so in ark mobile these guys can't gather fiber for some reason even

it farm a huge amount of fiber

it can't jump in ark mobile and only farm fiber when its on wandering

When trying to tame it use titanaboa kibble note titanboas only spawn in the swamp

Just crouch when approaching them, if you wanna tame it safetly, get a flyer and carry them and drop them in a pre-built taming pen.

On console hold r3 in to pick up shoulder pets while riding the Gigantopiticus. Takes multiple trys but it will eventually pick it up

Its The mini tank of ark like dude IT not very big but IT kills a all animals like we eat cookies

If i GO to The snow biome take this big Guy (make sure that he has 3000 HP good stamine and pretty high attack damage) take a level 150 and u are good to go

You can press the right joystick to gather fiber with them, they gather 45 fiber a bush and if you do it to a tree they get around 40 thatch and 10 wood per hit. Hope this helped and you all have a good day.
