Really dangerous ?, I have an argy I hatched and raised with a 51% imprint plus 4200 health, I accidentally flew into this thing thinking it was a Rex (which I could usually take), then I realized it was too late, a level 15 took about 1/4 of my health with one chomp, then over 1/2 after the second, luckily I didn't lose my bird

Taming a giga isn't hard as long as you are prepared. Prepare in advance by making metal Dino gates and one large bear trap, 2 to be safe. Have over 500 tranq arrows and over 1000 narcotics. If on a public server, hope to dear god that some other tribes can help with narcotics cuz it eats through every bucket of narcotics really fast. At least 3 people recommended, one feeding and keeping an we on the torpor, one collecting prime meat and kibble if any available, and another running around trying to make more narcotics. The giga' torpor has a tendency to stay constant and drop a lot even with narcotics being fed, so in order to counter it, shoot tranq arrows as health isn't an issue. The tranq arrows counter it's dropping torpor if it is getting lower and lower even when you're feeding it narcos. It is also good to have a 4th person watching the back of the person crediting narcotics as predators can coke while the person is in the giga's inventory. My tamed one like this yesterday

ROOOAARRRR a metallic snarl cracked the atmosphere as the giant hurled towards me. I had my tribe to set up a ring of metal gates in which a bear trap big enough to trap..uh well a giga was set in the middle. In a panic I ran through that tall gates as the ground shook and the trees splintered. I turned around in time to see the gargantuan metal teeth sink into the gigas ankles which appeared to be more of a nuisance than anything. I directed my tribe to box the giga in but it was having none of that, in an instant the beast turned around and ripped apart my men with one flesh ripping bite. In a state of confusion I jumped on my pteranodon, Han Solo and dashed past the beast in a last stitch effort to save my remaining tribe member..unfortunately he was sent to hell in one more earth shattering chomp. I fled to a mountain top where we had a small outpost and began to heal Han. It was a rough day for me.. do not mess with a giga unless you know what you're doing..watch your backs men..

Dont tame, my lvl 132 tame, was killed by lvl 12 wild and mine was on aggressive

Your going to want to sneak up on it and jam your thumb way up his bum.

Whilst the Giga is commonly considered best for war, it's no where near the best by itself, especially against either an Apex or Alpha tribe it will rage and die within the hour don't be like the on survivor army I have witnessed on my Jara...

I tamed my first giga today, I made it white and named it, "indominus Rex", from Jurassic world. -nova charm

Make sure you have atleast 500 traq arrows. It took me just over 3 hours to get a level 5 knocked out. Once it was knocked out it was a quick tame though.
