To passive tame a giga you have to wear ghille and feed it your argies ,should take about 3 argys to tame

Get them stuck on icebergs that are floating and they will not lose oxygen but make sure to have enough darts. Prime meat will help as well if you dont have kibble.

Unless you plan on breeding these guys or doing some serious raiding the Giga isn’t for you my friend. They’re slow with terrible stamina and just ok-ish health, wyverns with a full imprint or Rex/Tek Rex can hit just as hard and move faster: save yourself the 500 some odd arrows.

The best way to tame this is to build a metal structure that can house the Giga and ALWAYS make sure to have at least 2500 bio toxin in large containers. Next is to lure the Giga into your metal trap. I highly recommend an Equus for the job. They are very fast but the downside is that they have a very slow turning radius. It should still be a top choice, though. once it is trapped begin tranqing it immediately. NEVER, I REPEAT, NEVER use a longneck rifle to tranq it. It will kill it in a heartbeat. Use a crossbow to knock it out. If you have mobile use toxicant arrows. They work TWICE as fast. After these steps put around 300 prime meat into its inventory. After this clear the area for threats, just in case another tribe comes along, but always check back to keep applying bio toxin. Once tamed, you don’t have to destroy the trap. Use it as a prison for your enemy tribemates. After you have the saddle, enjoy wrecking the faces and bases of your most hated, and most loathed enemys!

Its possible to solo tame these guys but youve got to be fully prepped for a long fight.6 metal gates and a bear trap to hold him then hammer them with tranqs.take 4-5 crossbows with you.take ALOT of narcs,tranq arrows and raw mutton.

Now all tho I’ve never encountered this terrifying beast it’s still a tame I need! Now I know people already know this but build a trap and put large bear traps in there then tranq it out. They have pretty good health when tamed and their my most favorite creature in ark :) Also I know this is cheating but some people go into creative and then they tranq the giga or they use god mode and force tame it. I know it’s cheating but it’s pretty useful.

A tip for solo knock out is be on quezal and ride a get off the saddle and aim and shot (some shots will get stuck in your bird

Step 1: Craft kibble for Qez. I would recommend trading it.

Step 2: Knockout Qez, put kibble in, bring 500 bio toxin, tame it.

Step 3: Craft saddle and ride around mountains until you find a gigs.

Step 4: Just in case bring 120 trank dart and 3 long neck riffles.

Step 5: Be patient and keep shooting the gigs with trank darts until it’s knocked out.

Step 6: I would recommend having at least 4-6 soothing balms and 21 cooked prime meat.

Step 7: Put in bio toxicn and put in the prime meat and keeping using the soothing balm and feeding it the bio toxin while it’s eating the prime meat.

Step 8: After you tame it make sure to get on your Qez and go back and get the supplies to craft a saddle or grind for one, to get your gigs back to your base request it.

Step 9: Craft in at smithy and equip the saddle on your giga and boom you have a giga!

Step 10: If your play on a server or PvP server then research for further instructions, watch out for and thing that can make it enrage and never every leave it on passive.

While taming keep your tames away from u. While taming it our 2 high lvl argi was killed. And at last when we tamed it ithas only 18000 hp in wild it was having 80000.rip our argi

Gigas(Giganotosauruses) Often When You Attack Them From A Cliff They Will Let You Pelt Them With You Torpor Weapon But Then Run Off And Will Lap Back Around This Is The AI Trying To Find A Different Method Of Reaching You But They Commonly End Up Just In The Same Spot Allowing You To Pelt Them Some More Before They Try And Reroute Im Mentioning This Dew To The Fact You Can Easily Interpret This For It Passive Fleeing Also They Have One Of The Highest Torpor Drop Rates

It’s pretty easy, but knocking out is hard, here is what you need

1. Any flyer (argy or griffin is recommended)

2. Soothing balm if mobile

3. A few sacks of meat (just in case u ran out of meat, u can use prime)

4. Trq darts/ shocking darts and longneck rivel

5. God console

After that: step 1: find giga

Step 2: dismount argy

Step 3: shot it and knock out

Then tame

So here is what I did I rode a qetz to the Giga and I shot it with shocking tranq darts and there you go a tamed giga!
