I love these giant carnivores! They can be found easily on the center at lava island on the back side. I have struggled to tame one, but I am planning to soon. Have 35 raw prime, 50+ tranque darts or 100+ arrows, and 500+ narcotics.

Have a tribe member or alliance member fly a quetzal with a platform saddle you stand on the back and unload tranq darts.

Gigas are one of the best tames a new survivor can get. Just alk up to it with any meat, pat it on the beg, and you're... yeah nevermind.

If you find passive tames boring (passive takes about 2minutes) then use a slingshot and headshot it's couple times and it should do the trick!

This is the only dino you can tame by ankle taping and then feeding a few bundles of thatch

Don't waste shooting it with rockets or rifles that shit won't work on an evolved beast-idiot- you have to use natures weapons like the.......Rock and your fists

The only way to down these is by a slingshot it's a friendly tame so don't be scared

I have 2 150s giga with 310 dam and they kill wild gigas

When encountered feed it quetzals not the egg it will tame faster
