If anyone has any tips on taming these in Primitive Plus.. pls share.

These thing are pain in ark mobile, cause it can ghost hit

- Lure it into a flat and peaceful area.

- Trap it. 4 metal billboards and a large bear trap will do the job nicely.

- Tranq it (staying on a quetz platform is a good option if there're many predators on the ground).

- Clear the area with your favorite pet as soon as the giga is sleeping.

- Check regularly it's torpor, you don't want it to wake up.

- When its hunger has dropped significantly, give him some kibbles (or your taming food).

- Once tamed, use it to murder all the microraptors and ichtyornises of the map.

Tamed one with normal raw meat 😳😳

I tamed one on Ragnarok and by the volcano area there is a little ravine, cover both sides with metal gateways and fly over it while leading the giga there, saves resources and it doesn't have many places to go, I tamed 3 pretty quick doing this.

The best method to tame one is using your fists to knock it out, 100% effectiveness would recommend this way

Becareful at this titan, even if it's tamed or not if it takes fall damage or low health, it will trigger it's rage and will attack everything in it's path

Everyone thinks the giga looses levels wen tamed for example 30,000 hp and wen tamed 13,000 hp. But if you go to it’s stats and go to the bottom it shows the bace wild and tamed for example

Bace is 30,000 HP

Wild is +40

Tamed is +0.0014

So technically it doesn’t loos levels it gets more levels it just doesn’t give much more levels when tamed.

You expect more levels be cus almost every dino gets more wen tamed.

My friend thought that it is so so much better wen wild to!!!!

Um So a Giga is a big creature in Ark. Don’t go near it thinking you can outrun it or kill it. The Gita can one bit, and kill almost anything. One bite and it breaks through your riot armor killing you. These beasts can break through stone structures tamed and wild. To tame one, I recommend using 4 metal Dino gateways and placing them down, next lead the Giga into the trap, place large bear trap in the middle and close the trap with the 4th gateway. A low lvl, like a level 3 should take about 200-300 tranq arrows with a crossbow. Their torpor drops fast so I would use bio toxin. About 100 toxin should keep him stable. I would also recommend using a balm, (10x or 14x only which you can buy or get from caves), raw prime meat, or it’s preferred kibble which is Quetzal Egg kibble (you can make it or get it from the chefs station in Ark Mobile). The saddle unlocks at level 96, but I’ve heard there’s a chance of getting a blueprint of it from lucky loot drops and the hard snow cave tribute.

Yoo, I just tamed a 283 giga...on rag there's a canyon near where the giga is. The canyon has a bridge across it, kite him across the canyon so he falls in then get on the bridge BUT NOT THE WALKWAY STAY ON THE ROUND PILLARS. Jump when you shoot, the pillars have a small invisible barrier. Your welcome.

If you're Raising one get about a 1000 meat And put it in its inventory right away Or it will die in the next 5 seconds

Tamed one don’t let it go in the water or like me sharks eat it

I got hands on experience taming a giga with a pro. Words of advice summed up; get the giga trapped or stuck. On The Island you can use most mountainsides to your advantage. Use metal normal sized dino gates to keep it still (lure it into the trap before adding the last gate). Unlike carno, rex, allo, or yutyrannus running on foot and taking a few bites while knocking out a giga is a recipe for disaster.

Place 3 gates lure him in let your friend place the gate behind them if you have no friend place bear traps. Make sure the gates are from metal they can damage stone.

1Grab tranqs (amount depends on level) and a longneck and at least 100 narcotics

2Get double the amount of tranqs and narcotics you have after step one

3 get even more tranq darts and narcotics

4Bring a good meat gathering dino and tell it to stop nearby (but not too close or it dies) to the giga.

5Bring tapajara or argy (or any bigish flyer) with a saddle

6Grapple onto flyer (make sure it’s on stop)

7shoot the giga from really high up

8when giga runs tell flyer to attack giga so you can keep up with it

9 knockout the giga and starve it

10while starving, use your meat dino to kill nearby prime dinos

11feed the giga the prime meat (keep it uncontious and don’t go too far)

You have tamed a giga in the worst possible way! Congratulations! Seriously this does work… i think.

Found a level 145, took over 200 shocking tranq darts and put 100 exceptional kibble in its inventory but the MF woke up, did the exact same thing again and it still woke up!!! It then took a rocket launcher to the face. 2 hours of my life I’ll never get back
