Tamed a lvl 125 stayed up all night doing it. Fell asleep woke up... well I don't have a base but I still have my giga.

Me and my homies going to tame one level 10 with Lev 200+ raptors and 500 tranq arrows and with ascent BOWS!!!

If you're lookin to tame a giga mobile or on pc,I recomend taming 140 or so on so no regrets when you look for their melee.

(extra tip for ASA)

look for them on the volcano they always spawn in the mouth.

1.place metal gate on the entrace of the volcano.

2.place giant bear trap.

3.lure the giga and let it stomp the trap.

4.corner it by placing another metal gate behind it.

5.then shoot it untill knock out then of course feed it.

6.then boom you have a giant meat eating Iguana.

For a simple trap look up captain fatdog he makes awesome and cheap traps

If you get a longneck blueprint 500 damage or so you could knock one one out in 80 tranqs up if this was helpful😊

Took me plus two other tribe mates almost 3 hours to tame an R-Giga so be patient and time your shots correctly lol

They are somewhat common on fjordur, so it’s a great place to look for one. Lots of space for traps too.

To kock out the Giga all you need is 1000 people to kock it out

There is a spot near a ship wreck where on 5 of my fjord maps I know a spawn point for one on all but one of my deleted fjord maps one was there. It is the most likely spot to find one out of the three spawn spots for them. They also spawn around the volcano which is close by to the wreck and remember it is the ship wreck near the golden cliff. So you could find one hope this helps if you play fjorder.

I had tamed lvl 20 if you want to tame low level it will takes 150+ toxic arrows

Shocking tranquilizing darts are your best bet to tame anything especially gigas.

Please for the love of ALL THAT IS HOLY set up your trap before taming it. Place like give large bear traps inside and pray you can place down the doorway. You can use metal billboards to build a ‘funnel’ so that you can fly past it on your argy/wyvern, causing it to get stuck on your bear traps.

Don't need large metal dino gates take 19 of the metal dino gates used 15 of them 5 bear traps lure the giga in the box gates then once it in hurry and put down the last 3 or 4 gates while the giga getting stuck in the bear traps I done on Ragnarok and crystal works every time as far as I know

100% worst raising only do it on 4x you’ll want to die on 1x

Place three METAL Dino gates in an incomplete square lead the giga in when in place a fourth completing a square make sure to leave small gaps

On ark UME, I turned up player damage to about 10.0, and I was able to knock a giga out in less than fifteen shots from my bow. Didn’t even need a trap😭

When he ran away, I just chased him and shot him a couple more times. Boom. Knocked giga.

When taming one on ragnorock if you are taming one be the green tower than then I recommend climbing on to the top of the water fall than and keep him in the river then shoot

I noticed.......

It doesn't attack your raptor tame...so take your raptor and surround it with metal (sign board) 4-5 at least !!

For me, its not the taming part that is hard, its findinh one.

Anyways here how to tame one of these guys: prepare 4 metal gates (break stone), longneck rifle with tranq darts,a large bear trap, a 10x soothing balm (if on mobile), lot of biotoxins and lot of prime meats (if you dont have any kibbles).

Taming: these guys can be found in the mountains (luck isnt on my side), when you find one, make a uncompleted square (like this |_|) and put the large bear trap in the middle, then dismount near the beast then get back on your mount (must be using a flyer like pteranodon), even if you fly high it will still be aggroed on you, if you hit it with your ptera it only will aggro when your close to land. Then lure in it and it will get stuck for 5 seconds, then place the last gate behind.

Knocking out: If youre taming a low level like 30, get any balm (10x work better if you want it fast), it depends on your longneck rifle damage, if its like 355 it would take around 50-70 tranq darts, but id say to bring more incase. When shooting dont wait 5 seconds each, the torpor drains fast (as when its knocked out too) so youll just be wasting darts. Im tired so I wont continuing sadly. -CatLady
